Continuing their fascination with women, love and relationships, which inspired the EPs predecessor, 'Her Tape #1', the French duo's follow up is an intense love story that fluctuates between maternal and romantic love, drawing upon emotions such as passion and lust where appropriate. 'Blossom Roses' is the stand out track.

Yuck. I can’t believe anyone listens to this noise.
No thank-you.
if they’re still being recommended 30 years after they “emerged”, I may give a listen. The 80s are sounding pretty good right now for example.
Right now I’m listening to old Mike Bloomfield recordings at work. In the car it’s been Roy Buchanan for several weeks. The former OD’d on smack and the latter shot himself in the head. Both had more talent and soul and a thousand of these precious new things.
Like they have made a discovery that nobody in history has discovered before. They may be good but that's a real turn off.
Both girls below write, play all instruments and sing all vocals. They also collaborate in many of their pieces

Listen to the last song first “Starship”
She’s usually performing in Austin Tx and Nashville as a fiddle player but plays classical piano and guitar. These songs were recorded on her iPhone

Both girls have more than 100 songs each
Also good and hailing from London is Wolf Alice.
A story about “great” new music and no links in the text or for that matter anywhere on the page. Nothing like being igeneration.
Anna has a voice that’s clear as a bell. Absolutely beautiful.
Actually Roy was arrested and died under mysterious circumstances... “hung in his jailcell”... depends on who’s version you believe...
but he was a fabulous guitarist...
It mostly sounds like crap to me, but I might be willing to listen to a girl that plays the banjo.

I still have my “That’s What I am Here For” Lp I bought when it came out. It’s a bit scratched now so I broke down and bought the CD. Great stuff! My Les Dudek Lps are getting a bit rough too!
I am looking for new artists (trying to get out of the musical rut I’m stuck in), but agree anyone touting “you should be listening to X right now” is usually not a good sign.
The Missus and I went to see the Tedeschi/Trucks band last week. One of the opening acts was The Wood Brothers. Man oh man are they good! I downloaded several albums of their stuff. Excellent musicians and definitely worth a listen.
I’ll stick with my 70 year old Big Band sounds and Western Swing.
Man, that Susan Tedeschi has some pipes! To me, she sounds what you would get if you had the mutant love child of Bonnie Raitt, Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin.
