CNN political analyst Kirsten Powers is hitting back at critics of her network's decision to warn an anonymous Reddit user he could be exposed if he resorted to "ugly behavior" on the internet again.
"People do not have a right to stay anonymous so they can spew their racist, misogynist, homophobic garbage," she argued in a series of tweets to her nearly 250,000 followers on Thursday.....

Book 'em, Danno.
Agree - I was pointing out to CNN (if they read this stuff) that they’re not the government. They do not have the right to the invasion of privacy under the guise of “the people have a right to know” like where did they dig that one up?
What exactly was “racist, misogynist, homophobic “ about the gif in question ? Answer - nothing at all. So your statement is immaterial.
I went on a little journey through 4 chan and after looking around I think CNN ought to reconsider their thought process.
One comment was, “ okay 4chan, you know what to do”.
Next day all their info is everywhere.
You jumped onto the Titanic right before it hit an iceberg......Sucks to be you.
Obviously we need more cowbell, uh memes.
The finally hit bedrock and are starting to blast
Kirsten and CNN desperately want to make this about his “ugly behavior” but it is not.
That is not why CNN went after him. It was discovered after the fact.
Odd coming from a network that has been a regular outlet for “anonymous sources.” And who will polish their halos while pontificating about their right to protect their informants.
OK, Kirsten, it’s time to dox you and everyone you know.
Says the woman who dated Anthony “Carlos Danger” Weiner.
Irony wrapped in hypocrisy coverd in stupidity. CNN and their employees just can't quit displaying their idiocy.
Like some old, dead guy once said: its better to remain quiet and be thought a fool, rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Their power has been unchecked for so long.
The internet has truly saved us. Or at least given us a fighting chance.
So we need to keep fighting.
All righty then, let’s see a list of all the anonymous sources that CNN is using to try to smear conservatives.
Except this was not a CNN expose on Internet Trolls who post offensive material. This was CNN going after one individual (the wrong individual!) for making them look bad, with no higher motive than extracting a contrite confession by force. North Korea did that with the American they just killed in their prison, and the National Socialists and Soviet Socialists used to do the same thing too, so it makes sense that the socialists at CNN would follow in those footsteps. Nice try, but it's just more #FakeNews from the Fake News Network.
The CNN vendetta was triggered by a video featuring two white men, so it's hard to justify their "racist" and "misogynist" excuses, except that they always throw both into the mix. Unless they saw the fake-violence video as homoerotic, I have no idea where "homophobic" came from - or is that also standard boilerplate regardless of the facts? The reality on the video? It was saying metaphorically that President Trump is winning against CNN and against the rest of the fake news media, giving them a figurative beat down. The result of CNN's disgusting overreaction? CNN proved President Trump's point spectacularly.
It is OK because "they" (those opposed to CNN) are racist, misogynist, homophobic .
You can expose them, dox them, roast them over a hot fire, pull out their fingernails, shave their heads, even murder them, because they are racist, misogynist, homophobic.
Wait a minute... Who gets to decide that? How do we know they are racist, misogynist, homophobic ?
CNN says they are!
Let the vilification begin!
Bum ditch!@
