Interested in your thoughts.
I was watching it during the winter but haven’t finished the first season.Sad to see it end.
Like it a lot.
I’ve been watching it from the beginning, from A&E to it’s new home on Netflix. I’m looking forward to seeing Season 6, but sad that this great series will be coming to an end.
I was wondering when Season 6 was going to be available.
The last season when the fat Attorney laughed at Walt for thinking the truth would be a good defense...
That is what our society has become.
Its not enough to be right you had better be able to prove you are in the right.
Branch Conally? Isn’t he dead? As in, shot by his father?
Or, are they going to say, he hid under water, breathed through a straw floating downstream until rescued by a kindly indian girl and nursed back to health by whom he has had several kids and is raising them in a better fashion than his dad did, although his dadd was played by that super-hunk Gerald McRaney?
My wife and i love it also.
Longmire one of the best series on TV. One of the main reasons that I’m still on Netflix.
Sorry to see the end coming but its probably best to end on a good note. Too many series go on and on for too long.’
Longmire is a good series, with well-drawn characters and mostly capable story-telling, but it never quite found its full audience or a secure niche among the conventions of the detective genre. Some episodes were police procedurals, others were dominated by hard-boiled or mystic aspects or were personality and relationship driven, while other episodes referred to larger story arcs and contemporary Western themes. This could obscure the central narrative of an episode and leave casual viewers not so much in suspense as off-balance and confused as to what was going on.
We went through the entire series in about three weeks !
Three or four episodes a night and re-running the ones we fell asleep to last night.
If there was EVER a "program" that young men should watch, it is LONGMIRE !
Is this this September season the last season that will be made and on Netflix? I really have enjoyed it.
The characterizations of all the characters are well drawn and the plots are sufficiently credible.
I too will regret when the series ends.
Husband and I watched every episolde of Longmire. Every character in it has been excellent. I love the way it interfaces with Native Americans which is something we almost never see in a TV show. Father Brown is on our queue. For once Netflix backed a show that left us yearning more, not less of it.
I still have Red Rock and Man in the High Castle on Amazon to look forward to...
The best show in a long time. I liked it from the start.
“Longmire” is terrific. It’s interesting that the entertainment industry has to go outside our borders to find actors to portray “red-blooded American men.”

My wife and I listened to the author of the series speak at the museum in Longmont, Co. He tours all over the world and they love him in Europe. He was hilarious and the characters in the series are actually modeled from people he knows.
One of the best produced shows ever. Sometimes I want to slap Longmire in the head for being so dense, though.
Love it. They get their digs in against the wbite man, but don’t glamorize Indians. I don’t think the rkmantic thing with Sacmkff wkrks, but a nice pace.
I subscribed to Netflix because of Longmire. Anxious for the new season.
