When you put your gun on in the morning and leave the house for the day, are you concerned about printing?
The above picture was shared with me on Twitter. Taken by a man in a checkout line behind a woman whose firearm is only being thinly veiled by her light pink t-shirt, she could obviously care less about printing.
Its a topic of discussion Ive had with several instructors and an issue Ive had myself should we be concerned with whether or not our gun prints through our clothing? Yes, but mostly because if youre carrying concealed, the object is to actually conceal the firearm. Otherwise, you might as well open carry (and dont get me started on that today).

Thumbs-up to Mrs. L - more women like her needed to mentor women like the one in the photo...fashion tips, if you will. I overheard a conversation between two women behind me in the cashier line at a Dollar General where one of them was carrying openly and the other woman was asking her a lot of questions. The female OC handled herself well.
This woman is a fool and would lose her license in Tx.
Concealed means concealed.
Of course now we have open carry but that is just a legislative point to preserve our rights.
Don’t go flashing yer cards.
Whenever I see a Hawaiian shirt I assume “gun”.
Camo, Plaid, its all the same.
I do plaid.
Or a sleeveless vest. Why in the heck else would anyone where a sleeveless vest?
cooler
When Steve Scalise got shot, some dip**** Dem said “we need laws to regulate concealed long arms”
Some FReeper said, “yeah I always carry an SKS in my pantleg, but the mag gets some looks” LOL
To cover without sweating.
I Like a sleeveless T with an open light long tailed plaid shirt in the Dog days of Tx
Keeps the sun off, not to hot.
Sure, if your in a boy band...or a male model...
The Mag gets some looks..
Very Popular I’m sure!
I get it, I get it, but its just like the Hawaiian shirt. You might as well be printing cause anyone can see its covering.
That feller aint armed LOL
I dress like you. Long sleeve shirt with tail out to cover my paddle holster and Taurus PT111 Gen 2.
It took a while to get used to going around with an untucked shirt. Guess it’s because of my stint in the Corps.
I wear a polo shirt untucked with a Springfield Armory XDs .45 in a Fobus holster. If I print a little I don’t worry about it. I found that I cannot reliably pull from an inside the waistband holster and if I carry a gun I want to be able to get to it.
Choices are limited when its 108 deg.
I hate tiny pocket guns and I hate DA featherlights, but you should always have a knife and a gun ad $200 in your shoe LOL
or wearing a there piece suit there’s cooler and cooler
Come on Jenn, let's discuss it now........what do you have against open carry?
It’s like showing your cards.
Why show your cards?
And it freaks out the locals.
When I lived in Az EVERYONE carried open, and you did not have to worry about punks because there were 50 other people openly armed as social deterrents to bad actors.
Here in Tx now that we have open carry, no one does, except in the woods.
LOL!
I do camo most of the time! (And yes, sometimes I get “looks”.)
However, for the most part, my observation is that most people aren’t paying attention to anything at all. They’re all just wandering around in their on little world. It’s usually just us gun guys that can spot a carrier.
