Two things: I can pretty much guarantee you that President Trump’s budget will be larger than any of President Clintons budgets were. So does that make him even more unimaginably cruel?
Second, what was that line that was attributed to Franklin or Jefferson about “the way to lift people out of poverty is to make them uncomfortable in it”?

You are assuming it was Hillary alone that ran, and lost, in which case your question has merit.
However, such was not the case.
What was up for grabs was the power the entire left wielded, and wanted to cement, with her as the grifter figure head, allowed to do a little skimming, no big deal in the general scheme of things.
This war will never be over, as long as the left is allowed to suck valuable oxygen, and continue to spout their ideology.
2020 may see Clinton, but I doubt it, they will find another more charming (easy to do) figurehead, similar to the twit they had for the last eight years.
Regardless, they will not relent in their endeavors, ever.

Oh, you mean the money the Clinton Foundation screwed donors out of in order to rescue poor children in earthquake ravaged Haiti? Hundreds of millions of dollars raised for the children, to build hospitals and other projects, that were never built, and the Clintons absconded with the money. Yeah, she should give "her" money to the poor... like she promised.
