Came back from my next to last radiation to try to ease the pain in my femur. Have had a hiatus from my Chemo. Will restart on June 1st with a reduced amount since it really took a toll on me. Nine more sessions scheduled. One good thing to report, the Cancer has not spread further. However, the damage to my bones is irreversible. I have never broken a bone in my life and I am fearful of falling and doing damage, since the cancer has "nibbled" my skeleton from head to foot.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people on this site for the kind words of encouragement I received. Both my spouse and I have shed some tears over the uplifting of support that you, my conservative family, have given us.
We would also thank the many people donating some of their hard earned money to my go fund me site. This is really helping to lighten my burden.
Lastly, If I survive this, My goal will be to pay forward to other people in need and to make as much of a contribution to Free republic to stay relevant as "our" site of inspiration and comfort in this strange world of liberalism, Thanks a million
Manfred (Fred)
