Had my pet-scan last week and found that the cancer has not progressed any further. However, the damage to my bones can’t be reversed.

I had my prostate gland removed two months ago today. The doctors said everything went well.
What makes my case extremely unusual is before and after biopsies detected no cancer cells in the prostate gland but in the seminal vesicle there was aggressive growth cancer cells (Gleason score 8). Three specialists told me before the surgery this was not possible and the before biopsy just missed the cancer cells. Now one of the specialists is going to write a paper on it.
I will have a PSA test in a month to confirm cancer cells were removed. The lymph nodes were negative around the prostate gland.
Prayers for healing of mind, body, and spirit. Cancer takes its toll on every part of you.
My first PSA level when detected was a 7, biopsy was negative, the following PSA level was a 14, a new biopsy was ordered and when I had that done the PSA level went to 21 and an immediate surgery was scheduled. All good now, PSA levels are negative.

I am having Lupron hormone therapy for the next two years. The doctors also had radiation therapy scheduled for June but after the surgery they said it would be moved to September and went from definitely need to possibly need.

I am sure you must have lack of bladder control functions, I did for 2 months following surgery, no control what so ever, then I gradually regained control, now I only wear a surge control pad, one about every 24 hours, mostly needed when outside doing physical work.
Here is something you might want to investigate.
High doses of Vitamin C is being used to treat cancer.
From what is being reported it appears to help.
