As White House lawyers begin researching impeachment procedures, former senator and Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum said Friday night the GOP is nowhere near supporting such a move, but warned President Donald Trump that "this can't continue for a whole lot longer."
A person briefed on the matter told CNN that lawyers in the White House counsel's office have consulted experts in impeachment during the past week and have begun collecting information on how such proceedings would work.
People briefed on the legal discussions also revealed that White House officials believe the President has the backing of Republican allies in Congress and that impeachment is not in the cards....

Its such a shame that we have to let Trump remain as President even though we cant find or make up anything to impeach him on.........
The Republican Party is designed to function as a minority party. The WANT to return to their rightful place and protect globalist corporate interest in exchange for letting the left get away with pretty much anything they want.

I’ve always thought the same thing. Now they are proving us right. The Democrats have always functioned more cohesively as a governing party. I guess it’s easier when you don’t stand for anything other than racial hatred and abortion.
Santorum portrayed himself as a good Catholic choir boy for so long. Now we have his number. Just another jealous boy bitch loser.

Pence didn’t fight GWB and hasn’t done anything about immigration.
If the leakers are not identified and rooted out, this is only going to get worse.
The Republican Party loyalists will claim he said it on CNN and it was twisted, but its the religious conservative elements like Glenn Beck and Rick Santorum, who have attached themselves like polyps to the GOP Establishment over the years, who are a key element of #NeverTrump.
Glenn Beck said a few years back: “I am a supporter of Israel, but not the people who support Israel”.
This comment came at a time when Glenn was vigorously trying to extract refugees driven from their homes by the Islamic State.
Glenn changed his tune since then because someone got to him with advice or money or both.
But Glenn was onto something when he made those comments back then.
He was onto the forces behind the Syrian Civil War who have been stymied by Russia.
And the forces going after Donald Trump with Russia always on their mind.
It largely ended by naming the special investigation.
Usually, those offices don’t leak. I can’t recall any Starr keaks. They DO prosecute leakers.
And the White House now has “no comment on an ongoing investigation.” After fake news gets that answer 100 times they will ask different questions.
And Mueller shut down the Congressional investigations.
This is the clown who said that George Zimmerman guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin several months before Zimmerman was acquitted.
So Santorum is saying this witch hunt can’t continue?
