This is shocking and this is whats happened in my little town of Waimea: My eye dr for over 20 years , Dr Fischer, who disagreed with my political views that he read about in a letter I wrote to the editor to WHT, refused to return my calls for a medical emergency. I had returned home from D.C. where I had met candidate Donald Trump . I called his office 4 times and no one returned my calls. I finally just went in. I had a tumor growing in my eye as diagnosed from the urgent care clinic here in Waimea, and told to see my eye dr asap. When Dr Fischer saw me in his waiting room standing there trying to get an appointment, he very angrily said get into my office where he read me the riot act about supporting Donald Trump. I told him I disagreed and that I had just met Mr. Trump. He then said did he grab your ?, I was so shocked my face turned white according to the next person who saw me come out of his office. He said I am no longer his patient. I had to find a new eye dr. Then I start hearing from friends that theres an ad on the radio from my ex favorite happy hour place. The Redwater cafe here in Waimea. The ad says if your a Trump supporter your not welcome. Can you imagine if we had behaved this way when Obama was running for or was president? We need to start our own protests to celebrate everything our president is accomplishing. Thank you for letting me get this off my chest.

Correct, but if my doctor put politics ahead of professionalism I wouldn’t want him working on me.
President Trump has not in any way shape or form harmed any of these people who hate him.
They are just plain evil.
I will act accordingly.

Exactly.
I couldn’t find the ad either, but here’s a post from their Facebook page.

My dear FR friend , the post is created from a copy of a letter a good friend and fellow Trump supporter just sent me . I do not like to edit others people words when reporting on their communications . They write as they write . You write as you write . Clear enough ?
I just attended a graduation ceremony for new doctors Friday. They swore an oath to treat people without regard to political affiliation.
The Declaration of Geneva, as currently published by the World Medical Association[6] reads:
At the time of being admitted as a member of the medical profession:
I solemnly pledge to consecrate my life to the service of humanity;
I will give to my teachers the respect and gratitude that is their due;
I will practise my profession with conscience and dignity;
The health of my patient will be my first consideration;
I will respect the secrets that are confided in me, even after the patient has died;
I will maintain by all the means in my power, the honour and the noble traditions of the medical profession;
My colleagues will be my sisters and brothers;
I will not permit considerations of age, disease or disability, creed, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, political affiliation, race, sexual orientation, social standing or any other factor to intervene between my duty and my patient;
I will maintain the utmost respect for human life;
I will not use my medical knowledge to violate human rights and civil liberties, even under threat;
I make these promises solemnly, freely and upon my honour
Have you reported this Dr? to whoever oversees Drs. in Hawaii?
Did you provide reviews to Medical rating sites, such as Healthgrades?
Otherwise, you are just whining.
I would torch his car.
That was unnecessary.
The poster isn’t the patient.
.
Can you post a link to your letter to the WHT or a copy of the text? It would be fun to see what got them all spun up, hee hee. Mahalo!
” Otherwise, you are just whining. “
No , I am ‘sharing’ .... that the wider world might know
This is what FR s for ( among other things )
You’re like the guy that sits through most of an episode of Gillian’s Island, and 25 minutes into the show declares “no way she baked that pie without an oven,” as though everything up to that point had been totally believable. Come on! You’ve been here more than 25 minutes. Don’t act so surprised.
Then “Young Girl Sunday Blues.”
Is this the town also known as Kamuela?
That is despicably sick.Social ostrization is definitely in order. They should have warning signs at the airport srrivals warning of possible Democratic idiots in abundance on Hawaii.
He’s not listed in Healthgrades.
This is fascism. It must stop. Now.
That’s odd. He was listed there 15 minutes ago.
I was planning a trip for my wife and I to the Hale Koa military hotel on Waikiki since I now qualify. That’s out.
Perhaps the site is overloaded. We can always hope.
