Leftist Democrat Tom Ossoff – trying to win the Georgia-CD-06 Special Election today to replace GOP Rep. Tom Price – didn’t plan on revealing to voters that he doesn’t even live in the district he wants to represent! But on CNN this morning he was asked about it (a random act of journalism from CNN!) and he admitted he lives outside the district with his girlfriend “of 12 years.” He says he grew up in the district and plans to move back to the district soon. . . .

As for CNN, I suspect there was a potential strategy here--cat is out of the bag, can't say these points were not known before the vote. Run-off, presuming he makes it, is going to be a bit more difficult. Grandma of any party is not going to want to vote for him.

This may have just come to light when some TV crew inquired about when and where he’d be voting. But I’ll bet most of them knew and sat on it until it was virtually too late to affect today’s vote.
Okay, out of curiosity I went to his campaign web site. He’s got degrees, some work history—worked for Albright, claims military alignment because of his parents service (tired of jokers of all parties that spend time polishing the military bonifides by what their parents did as if that matters)... Spends a lot of his time about living in the UK. Summary sounds a bit like a punch list to say he did requisite things.
Interesting news, considering the WSJ more or less predicted a walkaway win for this guy yesterday in an 11 way race. Wishful thinking or just more MSM incompetence? Probably both.

That should tell you much.
Much of the vote “for” Ossoff is really a vote against Trump. This is people who are still not over the fact that the HRC “sure thing” didn’t turn out that way, and they’re still mad.
Democrats are always above the laws that Republicans are held to. I am sure a Democratic judge will say it is OK if this crook wins.
Rick Santorum was run out of the Senate on a rail back in Pennsylvania over just this issue (and others, to be honest). But the Democrats bludgeoned his political career to death with the non-resident of the district (State) information, even though he maintained a tiny (virtually unused) home back in PA.
