My own Congressman said he was going to vote against the bill, and he’s far from the Freedom Caucus members on the political spectrum.
He never had to explain why he was opposing it because it was obvious: Only 16% of the voters in my district supported the Ryan bill.
POTUS wanted it. That’s all that matters at this point with so much else on the table. Either support POTUS and his complete agenda or don’t. We either hang together on this or we hang separately. The Dems/RINOS/MSM will slice and dice the Trump agenda. Wall, trade, everything. Death by a thousand cuts. Don’t give them any help, FRiend.
Uh, no.
That kind of mindset is 'effing disastrous.
I believe it was Steve Bannon himself who said (publicly)some time ago that it was important for people to stay engaged in the political process and keep Trump in line ... because there was always a chance that he'd wander off and do something ridiculous.
I'm sure Trump is getting an earful of crap from many of his senior staff members right now.
And there's nothing wrong with this.
It's great to have a President who once lost nearly a billion dollars and recovered to become even better and stronger at the end ... but he ain't going to be doing that with my billion dollars.
I’m glad people did not have that attitude when Bush tried to jam amnesty down our throats twice.
We've had enough smoke and mirrors.
