White House adviser Kellyanne Conway was recently profiled by New York Magazine about her life and role in Trump's presidency. The interview illuminated many previously unknown tidbits about Conway -- such as her nickname of "Blueberry."
One story of Conway's in particular struck a nerve with some. Conway identifies as pro-life, but told New York Magazine she's "sympathetic" to women who undergo the procedure.
"Do I know anybody who ever got an abortion? Well, of course I do. I've driven them there. I've helped pay," she told New York Magazine.
"You know, when you're young, you're thinking about the person, not the issue. We were younger, and I was focused on her, not on the larger public policy."(continued)

What she did wasn’t OK. Why compund the error by bragging about it?
Without His grace and forgiveness every one of us deserves Hell. Not just the abortionists, homosexuals, criminals or cheats. EVERY ONE of us.
nice true statement and one that all of us should listen to.
Its a warning not to judge others hypocritically. Not that you cant judge anyone else, ever.
That said she qualified this as being in her young and stupid days.
You ain’t kidding.
As it is, I’m hoping the day I die is a busy one and the courts are full.
Maybe God will let me slide with a term in Purgatory and a suspended sentence.
Kellyanne admitted it and that’s so much more than most of the clods in WDC will do. Some will lie ‘till the cows come home......always have, always will.
Now who was it exactly that made abortion the law of the land? Christ had more than a few words to say to those that sit in the seat of Moses. Young and stupid is no measurement against a supreme judge.
Everyone can quit reading comments after reading yours. Well done!!!
OOPPS . That is aiding and abetting a murder, Kelly Dear repent quickly!!
I think she has. It was 30 years ago. She has completely changed her life and has become a productive patriot for the country.
Being truthful, when asked about her life, is not bragging.
Or do you recommend that she should have lied?
I’m Sure she has. I am also sure that it is none of our business.
I was raised in a UAW home.
I was also raised in an amazing church.
I was born with a logical mind.
I had a van down by the river (F150 Econoline straight 6 w/column shift)
I graduated with a degree in Micro-Processor design
I had no political affiliation but I knew right from wrong.
Then O.J. sliced the throat of his wife and Ron Goldman.
...and I watched the aftermather.
I listened to a show call “From Left to Right” with Barry Farber and Alan Colmes in San Diego.
Alan argued for O.J. and Barry slapped him around intellectually.
It was then I achieved clear understanding of my political views based on truth and justice.
I started posting on line and came to the conclusion “Liberals Lie About Everything all the Time.”
That’s my story anyway.
I once almost paid for an abortion. My DIL said her sister really needed $300 but didn’t tell me why. The next day she called and wanted more money and I made her tell me why.
She admitted that the money was for an abortion. They told her sister she was further along and it would cost more, I made them come talk and we convinced her to keep the naby. We told her we’d help her out.
Sierra is in her 1st year of college and she’s very sweet and smart and a raging liberal, ha ha. But, as I said, she’s smart and I fully expect her to outgrow it.
“What she did wasnt OK. Why compound the error by bragging about it?”
That’s what it seems like she was doing. She seems so blasé. Compare her story to post 20.
“The thing that made me pro life was driving a friend to get an abortion, and yes, I loaned her some money for it. Driving her home I was freezing cold despite the Arizona summer, and I shook so hard I could hardly hold the steering wheel.
When I got home I threw up and sobbed all night. After begging God for forgiveness I never looked back. There was no question in my mind”
She volunteered that she drove and that she payed, instead of just saying that she knows someone who had an abortion. Go ahead and explain it away if it makes you feel beter.
Yes.
You’re deflecting. You didn’t answer my question at all.
Obviously you do think lying is the answer.
and I was focused on her, not on the larger public policy
No, I don’t think she should have lied. But she went past not lying. Her answer sounded like a brag.
Only to you who have demonstrated that evasiveness is the way you handle things.
