Leftists smugly ask what they perceive to be THE gotcha question about trannies in restrooms: So, are we going to have genital police? To those smugsters, I ask, How will you determine whether the burly, bearded, bulging-biceped person in the womens restroom or locker room is a member of the trans cult or a predator pretending to be a member of the trans cult?
Please read this short blog post from liberal California mom Kristen Quintrall whose eyes were (partially) opened by an experience in the womens restroom at Disneyland:
I didnt know if I was going to write this blog or not. A part of me was scared itd be shared as some transgender hot piece about yet another homophobic mom lashing out at Disney and then Id have to deal with the wrath of the internet telling me to kill myself. So let me be clear. This isnt that story. This is a story about a biological man in the womens restroom.
Ive lived in Los Angeles for over a decade and have seen my fair share of transgender/gender fluid people. They in no way offend me. Id consider myself pretty progressive and tolerant of most things .But how transgender people feel, how they choose to dress or any surgeries they get, dont infringe on any parts of my life, so I support their decision to live as they see fit. Ive also seen my fair share of transgender women in the womens restroom before. Not ALL the time. But over the past few years, Id say 4-5 that I noticed. Men who were in some stage of transition and making every attempt to be a woman from mascara to heels. Transgenders who certainly felt comfortable in the womens room and probably frightened to go into the mens. At these times, I smiled I peed and life went on. But 2 weeks ago so mething very different happened.
I was at Disneyland with my son, my friend and her son. We were over in California Adventure in the food court area. Wed just finished eating and decided to pee before we headed out to The Little Mermaid. I went to the bathroom while she watched our boys in their strollers, and then I did the same .
I was off to the side waiting with the two boys, when I noticed a man walk into the restroom. My first thought was Oh sh*t, hes walked in the wrong restroom by mistake. lol He took a few more steps, at which point he wouldve definitely noticed all the women lined up and still kept walking. My next thought was, Maybe hes looking for his wife or child and theyve been in here a while. But he didnt call out any names or look around. He just stood off to the side and leaned up against the wall. At this point Im like, [ ] Ok there is definitely a very manly hispanic man in a Lakers jersey who just walked in here. Am I the only one seeing this? I surveyed the room and saw roughly 12 women, children in tow staring at him with the exact same look on their faces. Everyone was visibly uncomfortable. We were all trading looks and motioning our eyes over to him like what is he doing in here? Yet every single one of us was silent. And this is the reason I wrote this blog.
If this had been 5 years ago, you bet youre a*s every woman in there wouldve been like, Ummm what are you doing in here?, but in 2017? the mood has shifted. We had been culturally bullied into silenced. Women were mid-changing their babys diapers on the changing tables and I could see them shifting to block his view. But they remained silent. I stayed silent. We all did. Every woman who exited a stall and immediately zeroed right in on him said nothing. And why? B/c I and Im sure all the others were scared of that what if. What if I say something and he says he identifies as a woman and then I come off as the intolerant a*shole .? So we all stood there, shifting in our uncomfortableness trading looks. I saw two women leave the line with their children. Still nothing was said. An older lady said to me out loud, What is he doing in here? Im ashamed to admit I silently shrugged and mouthed, I dont know. She immediately walked out from a bathroom she had every right to use without fear.
So there lingered this unspoken doubt everyone had .that .00001% chance this wasnt a man. Let me be clear. This was totally a man. If this wasnt a man, this was a woman who had fully transitioned via surgery and hormones into a man and had also gotten an adams apple implant, chest hair and size 9-10 shoes .and at that point, what are you doing in the womens restroom?
And let me be clear, my problem wasnt JUST that there was a man in the restroom. Its that he wasnt even peeing, washing his hands or doing anything else that youd do in a restroom. He was just standing off to the side looking smug untouchable doing absolutely nothing. He had to of noticed that every woman in the long line was staring at him. He didnt care. He then did a lap around the restroom walking by all the stalls. You know, the stalls that have 1 inch gaps by all the doors hinges so you can most definitely see everyone with their pants around their ankles ..
So here I am writing this blog, because honestly I need answers. We cant leave this situation ambiguous any more. The gender debate needs to be addressed .and quickly. There have to be guidelines. It cant just be a feeling. Im sorry. I wish it could, but it cant. Im fine going by if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck its a duck. But this notion that were shamed into silence b/c we might offend someone, has gone too far.
There was a man in the bathroom. Not transgender. There was a man who felt entitled to be in the woman restroom, because he knew no one would say anything. There were 20-25 people by the time I left, who were scared and uncomfortable by his ominous presence. And the only thing stopping us, was our fear of political correctness and that the media has told us we dont know what gender is anymore. I never want to be in the position again. Im not asking for permission to tell transgender people to get out my bathroom. I need to know its ok to tell a man, who looks like a man, to get [ ] out. Gender just cant be a feeling. There has to be science to it. DNA, genitals, amount of Sephora make up on your face, pick your poison, but as a very progressive woman Im sorry it cant just be a feeling when theres but a mere suggestion of a door with a peep hole separating your eyes from my vagina or my childrens genitals.
I commend Quintrall for her courage and partial insight, but she doesnt see the intellectual and moral incoherence that yet animate her new position.
She says this man wasnt transgender. He was a biological male. She says there has to be science to it. Well, science tells us that the sex of persons can never change. Men who identify as trans remain always biological males. So, the man who through castration and cross-sex hormone-doping looks like a woman and talks like a woman remains forever a man. And women should be no more comfortable with the frock-wearing, Sephora-painted man sashaying past women doing their business in stalls than they would be if a construction worker in Carhartts lumbered past the stall door.
Objective sex either matters in private spaces or doesnt matter. And if it doesnt matterif biological sex has no intrinsic meaningwe should eradicate all single-sex contexts everywhere. That would include restrooms, dressing rooms, locker rooms, showers, saunas, steam rooms, and semi-private hospital rooms.
Quintrall suggests that if this man-appearing person were actually a fully-transitioned transman (i.e., a woman), she should be using the mens restroom. Wrong. Women cannot become men, and no womennot even women in disguisebelong in mens restrooms.
And this brings us to the thorny problem of where these confused people should go to do their private business. Not to be unkind, but thats a problem of their own creation. With regard to restrooms, most places of public accommodation have single-occupancy family restrooms that fully-disguised men and women can use. With regard to locker rooms, theyre out of luck. They should change and shower at home.
If people would bother to read more deeply on this critical cultural issuethat is, the meaning of sexual differentiationthey would learn that sexual anarchists seek to obliterate any and all public recognition of and respect for sexual differentiation.
The ignorant among us do not yet know that the gender eradication movement believes that identifying as the opposite sex requires nothing more than a verbal assertion. No diagnosis, no cross-dressing, no cross-sex hormone-doping, no surgery needed. Dont misunderstand me. None of those can transmute men into women or vice versa. Unfortunately, I hear even from some purported conservatives that theyre fine with men who wish they were women using womens restrooms as long as theyve been castrated. But such a statement implies that the only issue with trannies in private spaces is the risk of physical predation in the form of peeping or assault. Its not.
The central issue is the meaning of objective, immutable biological sex.

Writer also used that modern woman talk about peeing, pee, peed etc. Why are modern women so foul and gross in their language? What’s wrong with “use the restroom”, “use the toilet”, etc?
Guess we are just lucky she didn’t need to take a dump, or change a tampon, she’d probably fill us in on that too.
I miss the days of ladies.
In a healthy society everybody gives a little and everybody is more or less happy. In a sick one certain rights are inviolable at the expense of everyone else's. So long as that expense was on the part of "oppressive" men, the feminists were fine with it. Now it's at their expense. And the men they've disempowered can't do a damn thing about it, because if one of us had in this particular case every righteous progressive woman in the place would be screaming "off with his head" as soon as the pervert was safely outside. The well's been poisoned, and it's not going to be an easy thing to un-poison it.
While that is possible, he may have also been one of those voyeuristic/exhibitionist dicks that gets off on shocking or frightening women.
They exist and this trans bathroom issue is a dream come true for them.
I like the stores that have one restroom, one room where
you just walk in, lock the door and do your business -
overlooking the mess that the previous user left there;
then flush, wash your hands, dry them on a paper towel,
then exit and leave the door ajar for the next person
whoever they are. - I used to worry about “hidden
cameras”; but then got real jaded about it and decided that
if an old goat is so hard up that he gets a thrill out of
a woman peeing; he can just rot. - I used to go to a café
not far from our house where when you went to the restroom,
the old man who owned the place had very “subtly” torn a
big hole in the paneling under the toilet paper holder so
he could peep at the women who came into the restroom. I
told a waitress there & she already knew it and found it
very boring. He lost another customer that day; but he
died shortly thereafter & the whole thing was so pitiful.
(I wear long skirts; so he couldn’t see much. I also very
pointedly stuffed a wad of toiler paper in the hole. He
sputtered and fumed when I did that.)
In the early 80s, I arrived at Disneyland wearing a shirt my wife got for me at “Big Weenie,” a popular fast food stand in Hollywood back in the day.
The shirt featured the stand’s logo—a Vargas-type woman with arms and legs straddling a giant, semi-crescent hot dog. It also featured the stand’s slogan: “Big Weenies Are Better.”
No sooner had I gone through the turnstile than I was politely greeted by a well-dressed Disneyland security person who politely told me he would not permit me to enter the Magic Kingdom wearing that “Big Weenie” shirt.
I was welcome to change into a different shirt, if I had one with me in the car. Or, my wife could enter the park and buy a Disneyland shirt that would fit me. But he wasn’t going to allow me to take one step further with that shirt on.
I didn’t argue the point. I went back to my car and put on a long-sleeved shirt I happened to bring along. He thanked me. I thanked him. Problem solved.
My, how Disney’s standards have fallen.
Wait, your duck quacks? Might wanna drop by the Urology Dept one of these days. It shouldn’t quack. :P
You and me both. :-(
Why are liberals hell bent on destroying the concept of two genders and that sometimes they need to be separated in public? Why not a third, private bathroom for anyone who doesn’t feel safe (or for a parent with a young child of the opposite gender)? In Ohio rest areas, they’re called “Family Bathrooms.” But no! Any liberal I’ve mentioned this to won’t go for an “Other” bathroom.
But did he believe in faeries?
... doesn't it?
“With regard to restrooms, most places of public accommodation have single-occupancy family restrooms that fully-disguised men and women can use.”
I don’t think so. Not “most”.
Most public restrooms that the average person uses are in fast food places and gas stations, unless it is at a venue like a movie theater or arena for a concert.
It is difficult sometimes to find a clean, well-maintained bathroom on the road. Theaters and arenas may have bathrooms for one-at-a-time use, but most “free” public restrooms do not. Grocery stores and malls may have them.
Maybe more of these will help resolve this issue a bit, but ultimately someone is going to be made to feel uncomfortable or even unsafe.
THE ONLY REASON for a man to use a women’s rest room when a men’s is available is because he is trying to BE a woman. If you have put forth no effort to appear to be a woman, stay the hell out.
This story is horrible. And I was a “lesbian trailblazer”* at Disneyland once upon a time when they were anti—gay! I hope this man was reported. Ma ynof these stories and people will choose another destination for their families.
*dancing with my bestie who was also a girl on their dance floor, not touching, to a rock song. We were escorted off the dance floor and told not to return.
Yes. See my post 33. They used to have a zero tolerance policy. Now your whole family coould get in wearing those shirts.
Yes! I had the same thoughts. Why be so vulgar?
I miss propriety.
Lady, as a progressive you wanted this, so now you see a creep in the lady’s room and you write a blog. You need to tell Disney to stop letting men in the women’s room.
Don't meth.
Treating gender dysphoria with sex-change surgery (covered by Obamacare!) is like treating anorexia with stomach-reduction surgery.
It sounds like you were trolling for just that reaction. Why did you have an “extra” shirt in the car? You must have “subconsciously” thought there would be a problem and prepped for it. Which means you shouldn’t have done it in the first place.
Sadly, Dr. Passwater's earliest availability is in July ...
