Any type of affirmative action based on race for doctors would be just that. If Hillarycare had made it in the nineties, we would have had a form of diversity over excellence. In her plan, the government would have restricted which medical school grads could become which type of specialist, restricted by racial quotas.

Of course, in the eyes of the left, "diversity" means only one type of diversity, racial diversity, not diversity of thought or viewpoint .... similar to the word "choice." At least, with the internet, the left no longer controls terminology 100%.
