Six months ago I would have agreed with you on that.
Now I'm not so sure. His Twitter messages will get a lot more exposure than any other method he could use to get this message out ... other than perhaps sending Ronald McDonald and the Geico lizard out there to carry the message in a TV/YouTube ad campaign.
Actually, I’m beginning to agree - the governing by Twitter method seemed like a waste of time, but obviously, it works. I didn’t like his wasting tweets on rants about TV commentators or has-been actresses, but now he seems to have moved into a strategic use of them that is very effective.
I don’t know if he knew anything about Obama’s surveillance activities before the attack on Sessions, but if he didn’t know about it and hadn’t planned his response, he’s done a fantastic job of find out about this and turning the attack around on the Dems. The best defense - especially when there’s nothing wrong to hide or defend and you’re just defending yourself - is a good offense, and I’m seeing that Trump is very quick on his feet and gets out there right away.
