Obamacare is simply more of Medicaid with payers getting charged twice...once in their paychecks and again through Obamacare...i.e., the workers pay again AND AGAIN!!

I am less optimistic than I was before.
Many Americans want no part of self-responsibility. They truly believe that government can and will take care of them. The nanny state has become their god.
Our politicians have bought into this state of mind also.
AND as long as the US government can continue to pump out massive debt, at manipulated interest rates, in a totally printed currency - then who is to say they are wrong??

Nothing I disagree with in that excerpt. In fact, I’ve come to most of those same conclusions.
It’s why I simply cancelled my health insurance the day Obamacare went into effect. I buy health care like I buy oil changes.

I don’t see Ryno and McTurtle repealing Ocare. They will try to fix it. But they will leave the expanded medicaid in place which is a large part of the expense.
I have to agree with that sentiment. The entire goal of Obamacare and the first 6 year existence was to entrench it in to every aspect of American society. The squish republicans won’t touch it. Now that the dam for government run healthcare has broken it’s not going away. The government NEVER gives up power once it’s gone. It doesn’t matter who is president.
