If Dems want 'total war,' give it to them
Back in 2008, Barack Obama famously said: “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”
It was a mantra of escalation that would serve him well for the next eight years. His “achievements” may be collapsing or headed for repeal but, on balance, he got what he wanted by playing a smarter, meaner, and tougher game than his opponents. Last week we learned that Democrats intend to employ his strategies - en masse - for the entirety of President Trump’s tenure.
USCIS is still handing out work permits and operating DACA exactly as did did before.
They don’t have to hunt down DACA recipients, but they should at the very least stop adding 150 new recipients every day to the 750,000 already given work permits.
hmmmm....I wasn’t familiar how the program works. But how the hell does the President get to give people a SS#? It’s one thing to not prioritize their arrests, but another thing to spend tax payer money and put give them quasi legal status.
Well he could enforce the law. And then turn around and tell congress to build a wall ASAP so that he can then sign a law that handles the DACA stuff.

As I understand it, President Trump is inviting family members of people that have been killed by illegal invaders. If this is true, it should make for a very interest State of the Union.
DACA people are going to be a touchy subject for quite a while yet. The one thing nice about the people that have signed up for DACA ... they will be easy to find.
It is an illegal program.
Trump correctly said so during the campaign.
He should end it immediately even if he does not rescind permits already issued, they have to stop issuing new ones.

I am so disgusted with the Republicans. They have done nothing to fight the Democrats, and all of Trump’s cabinet should have been in place by now. Also, get the Supreme Court nominee moving. Oh, and REPEAL OBAMACARE!!!!

Obama was an illegal house guest of the WH for 8 years.
Naught can be done to stop them but these "victims" had best sit down, shut their mouths and behave themselves.

Good one. Trump usually does well ad libbing, but if the audience misbehaves, I hope he's been given a few lines in advance. For example,if some turn their backs on him: "I was told their might be some asses here tonight, and now I see them."

I’ll be missing it in real time. I’m playing ball tonight, then over to the Irish session at the pub. A little rehydrating fluid, carbohydrate and pain killer (in the form of Smithwicks Ale), sing along a bit and possibly get the mike for a tune or two. After the election season the last couple of years I’m about politicked out. I’ll check in on the reruns later.
