I don’t disagree with your assessment.
However, Milo’s ability to skewer leftists is not matched by many on the right.
I checked this and it appears Milo did indeed go too far. Can’t support him in this and will no longer comment on his rise in the media.
It’s a shame because he was clearly a symbol that revealed the clear fascist character of his opposition, especially at Berkeley.
I should have trusted my sense that homosexuals all have deep seated issues that cannot be endured for long.
The only way I see Milo’s exceptional talents making a comeback is if he publicly and vibrantly goes ahead with ‘gay’ conversion therapy. documents the process, acknowledges the clear sin of homosexuality and becomes an advocate for other homosexuals wishing to do the same.

Maybe you ought to read his artices at Breitbart. They are excellent. Milo is very confrontational and flamboyant but he reaches the young voters and his political positions are very sound.

Today, Salon gave a platform to a self-confessed pedophile to explain his urges in sympathetic terms. “I’m a Pedophile, But Not A Monster” reads the headline. It’s a long, self-pitying screed that ends with a call to be “understanding and supportive” of adults who crave sexual intimacy with children.
Forgive me if I’m not first to start the standing ovation. In fact I’m pretty sure most people will find the existence on Salon’s website of this post both shocking and distasteful.
The timing of Nickerson’s post, barely a week after multiple high-profile progressives rallied around progressive activist Sarah Nyberg, couldn’t be more suspect. Over the past two weeks, an alarming number of left-leaning commentators have rallied around the self-confessed transsexual pedophile and progressive activist who defended white nationalism.
In other words, progressives who got fired up about whether green and purple was a “rapey” colour scheme were suddenly fine with discussion of incestuous pedophilia from a 22-year-old in a chat room full of teenagers. It has been a somewhat grotesque spectacle to watch.
But these two incidents are merely just the latest in a disturbing trend of pedophilia activism on the Left, which has gone out on a limb time and time again to normalise child abuse. From the 1970s to the present day, organised pedophilia has been a recurring problem for the supposedly progressive movement.
The North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) had early support from Allen Ginsberg. In the UK, the Pedophile Information Exchange (PIE) sought acceptance on the Left by affiliating itself with the National Council for Civil Liberties (NCCL), then run by prominent Left-wingers. Leading members of the Labour party, including Patricia Hewitt and Harriet Harman, were tarnished by their association with PIE, but many of them remain in positions of power in the Labour party.(snip)
What’s happening here? Why are defences of pedophilia so rampant on the Left? And why are pedophiles so attracted to the progressive movement, as opposed to conservatism, libertarianism, or even anarcho-capitalism?
The most likely answer may be difficult for left-leaning readers to accept. For decades, moral relativism has underpinned radical left-wing thought. This is particularly clear when we look at how abuses in Muslim communities are treated. When the Conservative government in Canada labeled female genital mutilation and forced marriages as “barbaric cultural practices,” they were criticised by leading Canadian leftists.

In the U.S, where a left-wing administration is in charge, relativism has even seeped into the military. As was recently reported, American soldiers in Afghanistan are now being instructed to ignore the sexual abuse of boys by Afghan allies. Campaigners against religious barbarism like the UK’s National Secular Society have condemned the relativism at the heart of radical left-wing identity politics, but to no avail.
There is a very serious debate here on FR and Twitter about whether merely the ability to skewer lefties and to expose their hypocrisies alone is sufficient to support someone.
Many Freepers are insisting that Milo’s definition of “some” 13-year-olds as “sexually mature” doesn’t qualify as pedophilia or pedastery, and that (true) leftist whackos are out to destroy him because he presents such a specific threat.
On the other hand, IF (as it appears to me he does) Milo defends sex with “mature” 13-year-olds, then is there a cutting off point for support? ANY cutting off point? 12-year-olds? 10-year-olds? I don’t see where it stops. If he has an argument with specific age laws, that might be one thing, but to see it as ok, we’re down to the old prostitution joke where the guy asks the woman to have sex for $1m and she says yes, and he says, “what about $100?” and she says “What do you think I am?” and he says, “We already established what you are. Now we’re negotiating a price.”
So according to you there can be no conservative homosexuals. Good thing you aren’t in charge because people are more than their sexual choices or orientations.

Now I want to know how he actually supported pedophilia. I saw one quote that really didn’t do that, but that is all I saw.
The one quote made the argument that if the subject of the sexual interest is post pubescent, then it is not pedophilia. This is actually true. It might be creepy. It might be unhealthy, but it’s not pedophilia.

the guy was on line talking about his own experience of being gay he mentioned how important he felt for some men who were gay an older relationship was. basically a 17 year old with some one who was 28 years old. as far as I am concerned inappropriate but not pedophilia. knowing how about 20 percent of the conservative movement mostly evangelicals disagree strongly with the gay life style. the extreme left decided to use a neocon front group to paint a narrative that Milo is a pedophile something that is evil and unforgivable. the reason this was done is insidious. one of the truth within the homosexual community is that a lot of pedophiles hide with in the community. it was the hopes of the liberals that they could take advantage of this truth to paint Milo as a man interested in prepubescent boys and in doing this cut him off from all the support systems he has.

You are right. It is a bit creepy but I think he was just saying that the wrong word was being used. He does not advocate statutory rape which would be the right word for sex with a person past puberty and under the age of consent.
Furthermore Milo went out of his way to say there needs to be an age cutoff to protect against abuse and even though such a cutoff maybe arbitrary, meaning some might be ready younger and some not until way past, he thinks the current legal age is appropriate. The video was posted on a homosexual site and the people expected to read it would understand the slang used. Boy didn’t mean underage; it meant the younger/less experienced adult partner, such as Milo himself at age 17 with a partner in his 20’s.
Saw a little of him on TV. Changed the channel as soon as he lisped the word “Fabulous.”
He is purely justifying his own experience as a youth. It is very common with those who were abused as children. Iirc he was ten and a target of Father Michael. He is no doubt repeating the manipulation he heard from his many abuser It is one of the reasons that those who were abused abuse He must get therapy (educated )

Methinks in following this story there are more video interviews than this particular TV interview between Milo and whatshisname. Possibly CPAC viewed those other videos, as well, and then dis-invited Milo.
I don’t like to see a gang assault against anyone, but Milo is twisted, and it was a jolt to hear that CPAC invited him in the first place. Now, when they back out and dis-invite him, Breitbart openly discusses firing him and the publisher cancels his book, I recall The Scarlet Letter.
In this case, they all knew who and what Milo was/is, already, which is a very controversial figure who says and does controversial things that are grossly nasty, but thought pretty cool to hear about in some university age student settings and elsewhere.
CPAC wished to glom on to all the popularity of Milo in his success as a conservative attraction and dump him when he is being Milo.
He seems a rather lost soul and in danger of imploding and I do feel sorry for him. I hope he is restored, so perhaps a professional collapse, by pile-on, becomes a blessing in disguise.
Shouldn’t have surprised anyone with their eyes open. Open homosexuals are inherently like this - the culture involves sex with children. Milo was just being a little too honest.

People who call themselves Conservatives who have cheering him on are examples of people who, consciously or not, are accepting as valid the same sort of double standard that Whoopie (it wasn't rape, rape) or the "it's only sex" media thugs defending Bill Clinton.
Conservatives had better realize they can't accept as valid the same double standard the globalist elite the propagate and win the war against them.

CPAC even inviting the guy in the first place makes a mockery of the word "Conservative". They're either all frauds or full of frauds with enough leverage to deliberately damage the people who they claim to represent and appeal to.

Milo is twisted? How have you determined that? Because he’s not straight? He believes in traditional marriage by the way, and doesn’t think gays should adopt.
I think its very sad that we have gotten to a place where the right feels comfortable stooping to character assassination and facilitating the left in destroying Trump supporters. Trump wants to heal this Nation and make us one America, an America with freedoms and opportunities for all. Letting the left pick us off one by one for lack of purity on all issues is not the path to that vision.
If Milo was a pedophile or defended pedophiles the story would be different, just as if he were a KKK supporter, but he’s neither. Milo is a young man with a great mind, a willingness and ability to speak his mind and reach millenials and internet savvy folks who are not reached by the traditional methods. He has been hurt, he is flamboyant and young with all the brashness that gives but he is willing and effective at promoting the Trump train.
