Trump isn't adjusting well to life in the White House — he's reportedly experiencing 'cabin fever'

President Donald Trump reportedly isn't adjusting well to life in the White House after his first month in office.

That's according to Axios' Mike Allen's latest newsletter, in which he writes that a Trump adviser told him the president is experiencing "cabin fever" in the White House.

Trump is reportedly experiencing headaches and frustration that he can't spend his evenings dining at restaurants like he could around Trump Tower in his old neighborhood in New York City.

Trump's campaign-style rally in Melbourne, Florida, on Saturday — during which he castigated the news media and mentioned a nonexistent incident in Sweden — was "partially about Trump management," Allen writes.

The rally was a chance for Trump to escape from the pressure-cooker environment in Washington after a month of turmoil, and bask in the adoration of his most passionate supporters.

Trump will spend Sunday interviewing candidates to replace Mike Flynn, the president's former national security adviser who was ousted over his connections to Russia.

“...during which he castigated the news media and mentioned a nonexistent incident in Sweden...”

This gratuitous piece of false information tells us that the entire report is Fake News.

You are 100% correct.

Have you perused the comment section in the article? They are beyond atrocious, just horrible and hateful. Some have to be Soros paid bots, but remember, lies repeated often enough will begin to become people’s reality. To read their comments is to realize how beyond insane these people are.

I enjoy listening to Richie Allen on his talk radio show, from the U.K. He’s from Ireland, has a great accent, and is TOTALLY WRONG in his thinking.

I listen because he is entertaining and not abrasive. It is fascinating to hear how their minds work. They are totally deluded beyond description. They really are 100% convinced DJT is a fascist on the road to dictator.

Current events, DJT’s speeches, it’s all filtered through the pre-conclusion that he is a very dangerous man, etc.

In my lifetime, I’ve never seen so many seemingly intelligent, sane people be so completely fooled.

While I think it’s stupid to make this an issue, Trump is used to the kind of lifestyle that the presidency cannot accommodate. An average schlub like me would be so enamored with the White House that I’d never want to leave—but a billionaire who has the whole world as his playground and has the energy of a 20 year old? He needs time to adjust.

How much longer must we endure this assault on our Republic under the thin and badly misplaced guise of "freedom of the press?" It isn't meant to guarantee "freedom of the press to lie and slander," nor should it.

Methinks a time quickly comes when The People will have had too much more than their fill of this Machiavellian scatalogical experiment. Frankly put, if Trump has shown us anything, it's that the time for putting up with puerile bullsh*t is over.

These people have to be shown the error of their ways, and the trend away from the historical broadcast and print news 'bastions' and toward independent internet sources will be their death knell. They will continue to limp along propped up by losers like Soros and Bezos for as long as they can stand being irrelevant, ignored, loathed, and abused by Trump's Bully "Pulp'em" Pulpit.

Then they'll either be forced to play nice, or just fade into hard-earned obscurity.

There, I've convinced myself. I am really getting used to all the winning!

I would think it would take some getting used to ... it would be like living in a fishbowl. Especially to someone who is used to living in far nicer accommodations.

However, that is the trade off one makes to be President and I’m sure Trump can handle it. It’ll take an adjustment period. I hear he’s already got the White House chef making him meatloaf.

I believe it. Every president has complained about it. How would you like it if your movements were confined to a certain amount of square feet after a life long ability of freedom of movement?

I recall reading a story that Nixon was going stir crazy one particular night and told the SS that he and Pat were going to the Kennedy Center that night. They told him no. He ordered his limousine to pick them up and the SS refused again - there wasn't enough time to do proper security sweeps. So he went up and watched TV.

Michelle Obama would wear a wig and other things to disguise her appearance and sneak out of the White House just to walk around unnoticed from time to time. Yes, I know - there is an easy joke there.

So someone who is as outgoing as Trump and likes mixing with people, the transition to a limited existence has got to be frustrating. Even going to a restaurant is so disruptive to everyone, presidents tend to stay inside - not that they don't go out.

Trump is human, last time I checked.

That does not mean he doesn’t feel trapped in the White House. Every president has experienced it. This is normal. Geez, this is not a negative of Trump.
