This is just one of the many reasons vast swaths of government agencies need to be just plain eliminated. Throw the tenured babies out with the bathwater. The federal government has become a huge cancerous growth that is killing our country. Radical measures need to be taken to get rid of the cancer.

I feel just a little squeamish about firing the good ones, but I'm still okay with it. The good ones can get jobs elsewhere easily. The NSC has (or should have) lost the trust of the President of the United States and of the American people.
This is a very large swamp; we're going to need the biggest drain available if we want it cleaned up.

Schumer already tried to warn off AG Sessions from this effort— thereby telegraphing his greasy fears that their multitude of leakers will be outed, prosecuted and removed permanently. Sessions will not be out of the loop with the FBI counterintel (domestic), the FISA court warrants that were issued and from whom these warrants were requested. The warrants went far further from usual foreign surveillance requests and ventured into US private citizens. And, don’t forget— Trump and Harward now have the info on obama, and a very good case to put him away with hitlery et al. Assymetrically speaking.

There was no good reason to have it installed but two:

Yes, you can! The V.A. that was in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina did it.
You just delete the position, period. There is no retirement until you have 20-25 years in unbroken federal service, (without jumps between agencies). The deletion also cuts off the qualifications for unemployment money.
