Hillary Negotiating Secret Pardon With Obama’s White House Counsel
True Pundit ^ | December 27, 2016

Hillary and Bill Clinton are secretly negotiating framework for a potential pardon from President Barack Obama that would spare Hillary from looming criminal indictments, according to Justice Department sources.

But there’s a catch, as there often is when it comes to legal proceedings and the Clinton family. Neil Eggleston, White House Counsel to the President who oversees and approves all presidential pardons and commutations, was previously employed by President Bill Clinton’s White House as a key lawyer to the former president and Hillary Clinton. Also, Eggleston has previously represented Cheryl Mills, a key Hillary attorney believed to be involved in Clinton’s clemency negotiations.

Even though she has not been charged yet with any crimes, the Obama pardon would shield Hillary from any criminal charges she could face under a Donald Trump administration and a Sen. Sessions-led Justice Department.

Sources said Obama green-lighted the Clinton talks with Eggleston prior to departing for his last vacation in Hawaii. However, allowing the Clintons and their attorneys to negotiate directly with Eggleston smacks of a serious conflict of interest, whether or not the sides agree on acceptable clemency terms for the former secretary of state. In an corruption-free administration, Eggleston would step aside and recuse himself from such negotiations having served as a Clinton family lawyer during the most tumultuous period of Bill’s Clinton’s presidency, including his impeachment.

But the Obama administration is anything but corruption free.

Hillary Clinton is the target of at least one criminal FBI probe for mishandling classified and top secret emails and government secrets and possibly other criminal charges as the FBI is likewise investigating the Clinton Foundation for money laundering and pay-to-play involved crimes.

Clinton family legal consigliere David Kendall, who co-defended President Clinton with Eggleston during Whitewater and the Lewinsky affair, did not return requests for comment.

Going to be beautiful watching the Clinton Crime Family in perpetual lawsuits losing their ill-gotten gains chunk-by-chunk. They’ll probably end up like Jefferson Davis, living at the expense of a wealthy benefactor (Soros).

There are scores of others involved in the Clintons’ activities. Unless they are all covered by the pardon, the investigation(s) may continue, and may result in the prosecution of those individuals. Either way, I think Trump should appoint an independent counsel and let nature take its course.

So is the pardon a secret or is the negotiation a secret?

Actually, a Presidential pardon binds all courts in the land.

There once was a legal concept of treason to the individual states. I think only 3 such convictions in our history.

Thomas Dorr was convicted of treason against Rhode island in 1842, later amnestied. John Brown was convicted of treason to the state of Virginia and Joseph Smith was convicted of treason against the state of Missouri.

Treason against the state is still in many state constitutions, but since the Civil War its pretty much a dead legal concept. Maybe it shouldn’t be!

I don’t think he cares about that, his half black skin affords him protection like some rare species against almost any prosecution.

He got caught spying on our press in violation of the Constitution.
Used the IRS to deny Conservative PACs status.
He was caught gun running in Mexico which killed lots of people on both sides of the border.

All the above, but black got a pass.

Cannot she also be charged, potentially, for STATE crimes, such as, if NY finds something in the Clinton Foundation, etc.?

Problem is if zero grants a pardon for the hildabeast he will have to grant one for himself as well since he was in on a lot of the dirt with hillary including Behghzi and much, much more.

Then there is the problem of other countries granting immunity or not such as Haiti. Will they be so eager to grant the Clinton Crime family pardons after being ripped off for billions?

Perhaps not.

Will all parties get pardons for pedophilia as well?

“In the Court Of Public Opinion it is an admission of Guilt.”

For most all it would be so but in the media who frame public opinion, this will be portrayed as Obama shielding the poor innocent Hitlery and her part time consort from nasty Trump vindictiveness. Also, even when they are impeached as the rapist was, does the media ever note that when referring to him? No. And they will not refer to the pardoned Hitlery as the miserable traitor and petty or grand thief she is.

The likelihood of a former First Lady and Presidential Candidate actually being convicted is highly unlikely. Any possible trial would be in either New York or Washington and you would never find a jury without at least one hold-out. On the other hand, a pardon would give a clear implication of guilt and more important, it would strip her of any protection from giving complete testimony in any civil, criminal, or investigative proceeding.

All of her associates, including her lawyers (Mills & Kendal), family (other than possibly her husband) aids (Huma)as well as those who bought influence would be at extreme jeopardy. I would love to see her brought as a state witness in a number of criminal proceedings where she could either tell the truth or face perjury charges. It would be of great benefit to the country to reestablish the principle that following orders of a corrupt leader does not excuse misconduct of others.

My Bad. It should be:

Eggleston said Obama has now pardoned a total of 148 people during his presidency and has shortened the sentences of 1,176 people, including 395 serving life sentences.

Can 0bama give Hillary a blanket pardon, even though she has not been charged with anything, or does it have to be somewhat specific
+=================
Hillary goes free but will she be able to claim the 5th when Congress investigates?

The Pardon is for criminal conduct. Civil conduct is not covered. In the Clinton’s case being sued out of existence would probably hurt them more than being found guilty of crimes and given a slap on the wrists.

Obama is in “Destruction Mode”. Will he let her be utterly destroyed?
He’s done it to all our allies.

A pardon would not allow the Clinton Foundation to continue to operate as it did in the past. CF must be investigated and a pardon will not shield it from ongoing crimes such as influence peddling by foreign governments and any charity scams.
