Somewhere some momma is crying. “He was a good boy. He didnu nuffin. He was just turnin’ his life around.”
She should have been keeping a closer eye on her kid, then.
When a person points a gun at another human with the intent of forcing his will, or coercing him into surrendering his hard-earned money, he deserves whatever happens to him. It’s an act of terrorism as I see it - using the fear of death to coerce someone. So there’s zero sympathy from me.
My sympathies go with the man who had to kill the thug. He was just trying to live and ordinary life, on an ordinary day.
“He was just trying to get money to pursue his dream of being a brain surgeon.”
And a TV news reporterette will ask "Well, why did the shop owner have to kill him? Couldn't he have just shot the gun out of his hand?"
