My process has been to stat on issues where we agree. Even most liberals can agree on about 80% of the stove government does well or poorly.
If you can be reasonable, you can split the difference on half of what remains.
That leaves you at 90% agreement.
After that is becomes purely a case of looks and personality.

Spend every last dime you have on whatever the hell you want to before you die.
Screw giving it away, especially to ingrates that have no appreciation for what sacrifices you made and the hard work it took to EARN that money.
Just my $.02. My attitude changed when I was diagnosed with Leukemia over ten years ago. My Niece is a Democrat and won’t see a dime. Yeah, I’m a meanie. LOL
