Donald Trump’s decision to nominate Sen. Jeff Sessions as attorney general is being met with alarm at the Justice Department’s civil rights division and could trigger an exodus there, former officials said Friday. Longtime lawyers in the unit that enforces voting rights laws, conducts investigations into alleged police abuses and prosecutes hate crimes were already on edge about what Trump’s victory would mean for their mission, but the selection of Sessions pushed those fears to another level, former officials said.

Perhaps they should learn to adjust to the new priorities of the incoming administration, the way I have to do every four to eight years when we get a new DHS head.

We’ll get an entirely new command structure with entirely new priorities. At some point you just have to roll with it. Those of us who are prior military understand how to do that.

Trump is cutting government waste before he’s even sworn in. America hasn’t been this blessed since 1980.

Good! They can all be replaced, and will be replaced with employees that are not racists and communists. Works for me.

I am one of many non-protected, non-management, lower level federal employee who do all the work while the managers take credit and get the bonuses that we who acutally do the work never get or even really expect. I have decided to leave federal service because I do not think the agency I work for will every be able to provide the services they are mandated to provide. This is due to inept management who reduce people down to numbers on a spreadsheet with no real consideration of them as human beings. They measure sucess by ever changing arbitrary numbers that do not have the true best interest of the people they serve in mind.

I believe that President Trump MUST completely replace everyone in all government agencies at GS-13 or above and also any recently hired employees by Obama used to implant opposition to Trump inside those agencies. He should start with the State Department, IRS, Homeland, and the VA. All Obama era military officers O-6 and up must go also. This is what must happen in order to drain the swamp.

They better leave! These are the leftists that came in when the decent people quit because Obama wouldn’t prosecute racists outside polling places threatening voters with weopons.

Obama directed DOJ to ignore cases with Black defendants.
Tells them to ignore White victims.

And getting rid of these liberal, anti-Americans is a problem how?

The first instinct of the current office holder, Eric Holder in a pantsuit, Lynch, is to pursue hate crimes by Trump supporters against the Left after the election, which are few and far between and mainly anecdotal. Her first instinct after Islamic terrorist attacks, is to go after Americans that hate Muslims. She is a vile racist, just like her twin Eric Holder is.

Can't wait until Sessions is in the AG spot and cleans out these radical Lefties in the DOJ.

Another way to fire them is for a crime committed on the job, malfeasance. Which is the obvious reason the are fleeing the scene.

The “Civil Rights” division has become a complete tool for the Democrat party for the last eight fifty-two years.

Fixed it.
