Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., recommended on Friday that President-elect Trump nominate fellow former GOP presidential candidate, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat.

Trump has said he may consider nominating Cruz's Tea Party ally, Utah Sen. Mike Lee, who said he was not interested in the position. Goldberg said the same may be the case for Cruz, adding, "I don't think Cruz" wants the lifetime post.

I was an early Cruz supporter and thought this might be a good spot for him but now me thinks this is bad news. Cruz will vote with the libs just to stick it to Trump. He ‘s a petty little man.
Linda your time repersenting SC is coming to an end . The next election for you will end badly in the primary.
Ted Cruz would be a perfect fit for the Supreme Court. Remember, he represented, and won, four cases before the Black-Robed Nine. That is no small achievement! In fact, I backed Cruz early on, based solely on his Constitutional credentials.
However, we can’t afford to give up seats in the Senate. We barely have enough of a majority to hold the line now.
That being said, Cruz will need to make some noise to raise his profile before his next election (assuming he chooses to run). Look for Cruz to attack some big problems from a solidly conservative stance, to “make nice” with the good people of Texas.
And don’t worry about the “natural born citizen” issue. After Obummer, we will never let that issue slip past us again. Ever.
Graham needs to retire......term limits!
Of course that's Nancy's motive. And the RATs would not oppose Cruz because they think they can elect a more liberal replacement now that Texas is nearly Kalifornized.
Texas isn’t pleased with Luzer. If he stays, it’s only because of name recognition and the Hispanic vote. It’s time to start the deportations.
When our kids were in high school, they were very aware of the sudden influx of illegals. They couldn’t believe the number of Hispanics in their middle school. In just a couple years, it had changed that quickly. Those kids are now getting to voting age and will somehow manage to get registered.
I’ll take Napolitano and Cruz to replace Scalia and Ginsberg any day.
Usually spell check mocks me.
Not it just figures, “hey, you really want to send that out into the world? Don’t let me stop you.”
I feel shame and will go sit in box.
Grab yourself by your own p*ssy and yank yourself OUT of the Senate by the hairs.
I dispute the idea.
Cruz has no understanding of The Laws of Nature and of Nature's God: The True Foundation of American Law.
Wow, a worse condemnation of Cruz I could never imagine, then to be endorsed by Lady Graham.
After his Goldman-Sachs ties were uncovered... yes. I would expect him to go all David Souter/John Roberts on us.
YES!
NeverTrumper/OpenBorders Gang unites!
No thanks, Linda!
If globalist Cruz cant determine something that simple, he doesnt need the responsibility of determining more complex cases. Besides, the CFR, Goldman Sachs and Soros dont need another seat on the Supreme Court."
You nailed it. Cruz is a traitor who attempted to usurp the presidency.
Ted Cruz is not eligible. He is NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN!
Temperamentally he is better suited to be a jurist. Also as President one’s effect on the country is for 4 years, maybe 8. Supreme Court justice he could be there putting us back on track constitutionally for 40 years. Which is better for the country? Of course the limelight doesn’t shine so much on a Supreme Court justice, maybe that’s the real motivation here!
I reckon not.
Steve Deace, who is friends with Cruz, said on his radio show yesterday he now thinks Cruz would want the SCOTUS position. If Trump had lost, he would’ve tried to run in 2020. But now with 2020 off the table, 8 years on the court look like they would be more productive than 8 years in the Senate.
Cruz is a traitor. He attempted to usurp the presidency. He should be tried for treason and if convicted..... hang from a rope in front of the white house.
