Better ideas:
1. Resurrect the Obama concept of grading colleges and universities based on how many of their graduates have paying jobs in their majors five years after graduating.
2. Dry up alumni funding because the colleges and universities have forgotten their primary duties - educating the students, They seem much more interested in paying exorbitant salaries to their professors.
3. Limit the growth of tuition to the same cost of living increases paid to your military veterans and those living on social security.

The video I posted the other day becomes more and more apropos does it not?
I had a liberal with a typical basket weaving degree tell me years ago that whereas I was basically a glorified technician for having a (highly specialized) engineering degree, her degree was far more better because it changed the way she thought (plus set her up for a government job). It changed the way she thought because of what is taught in those programs. Sciences, engineering, and business are useful degrees at an undergraduate level. Everything else should be starved of any governmental support, direct or indirect. The rest is about poisoning the minds of students against their fellow working man and making them feel superior to all of us.
