We just witnessed the greatest grass roots movement ever, ok, not a historian, at least my lifetime...
I first want to say Thank you Lord Jesus! For answering our prayers and opening enough peoples eyes to see the truth plus motivating them to turnout to save our country. I believe it is First time voters of all ages in every state that pushed Trump over the top.
Trump Masterfully used the media, against their wishes, as they kept telling us they were covering a perpetual train wreck... He fought like the fighter I have begged for all those years since Reagan left office. Trump knew his message would be distorted by literally everybody and he had to deliver it personally. He took Obama's example and used the internet and youtube like they only dreamed about and it became to true grassroots movement that he tapped into and rode the wave after that. In the final weeks he truly outworked her and the whole democrat party combined! I had heard him say it in a rally before, but had great hope after the 7 minute video came out where he talked about the movement and knowing this was not about him...
I am proud to say because of the internet, this time, I feel like I might have been able to make some minimal unknown difference that I never could have done before... with all the efforts I made online, sometimes just arguing in comments section for fun because they were lying! I am extremely happy to think even 1 person possibly changed their mind from reasonable respectful arguments I made with them or hopefully even somebody else reading thru the comment section... Recently realized I lost a few friends on my facebook account, hopefully the family ones come back in the future, I did not start it for politics, but to keep in touch with family and friends. At some point things got to serious to not use that avenue publicly, since now I had the f/b account needed to log in and comment.
I also personally perceive that our schools do not adequately convey the worthy example, dignity, character, and capabilities of our nation's founder, the "Apostle of Liberty" (book title).
Trump follows in his footsteps, laying down his personal life of luxury and ease to serve the nation.
Trump is assigned by God to create a new foundation in our nation. This is truly a reformulation of our nation. The old foundation has been destroyed, as symbolized by the cracks in the Washington Monument. May God continue to give him wisdom and grace. "When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."

I agree. We were about to lose it. Do we have an idea what the final popular vote tally will be?
I was on pins and needles all night. Checking the Fox News map, kids needed the computer, so I ran downstairs and turned on the TV down there. Up down and all around while pretending to parent my kids. How did people on the East Coast stand it? I went to bed at 11 PST, that would be 2:00 am for Republicans in the east.
For me as well. I was always concerned that the FR crowd were delusional in ignoring the polls, and was worried that Donald blew it.
The betting odds were terribly wrong meaning they are not infallible as I thought.
And I learned my lesson about polls. Were they incompetent, or were they really trying to demoralize the GOP vote?
I couldn’t help it. I took plenty of shots at #notmypresident :)
Same thing I’ve been thinking.
