If someone likes Christian sci-fi, though these aren’t free, I also recommend “Infinite Space, Infinite God” and “Infinite Space, Infinite God 2” the anthologies.
They do have a Catholic bent.

She died shortly after Indy turned 2 and their Gospel album was released early this year. She held her faith in GOD the whole time. Said she won either way. Hanky needed movie.
