No matter where you look, if you're watching the MSM or a NeverTrumper is on the screen, you will hear the statement that Trump needs to win Pennsylvania. NeverTrumper Glenn Beck pushes this notion on his show regularly. The reason they do this is to put all the focus on Pennsylvania, where it is always an uphill fight for a Republican and the polls often look tough. Glenn knows that he has Trump supporters in his audience and his goal is to demoralize them. Unfortunately, he often distorts the truth or simply misstates it, to accomplish this goal. Trump absolutely does NOT need Pennsylvania to win.
The Glenn Beck crew plays a game where they pretend to be generous with electoral votes, assuming that Trump will win where he may not, and then they hit you with a demoralizing, gulp inducing statement, he still loses! There are a couple of problems with this. First, he is not being generous by assuming Trump will win North Carolina or Iowa. Trump is definitely up in Iowa and North Carolina is a tossup, but probably leans Trump. Remember, Obama didn't win the state when he had the biggest non-white voter turnout in history, which will almost certainly not be replicated this time.

Glen Beck is still on the air? .....Who knew?
It’s more like, if Trump wins PA.....it’s going to be a landslide!
(and...he might win PA).
I’m glad they replaced him with Laura Ingraham here where I live. I missed listening to talk radio on the way to work.
When your credibility and influence has hit rock bottom, where do you go from there?
Fishin’?
The author was too generous to Beck. We assume him to be above nothing
If you look at Nate Silver’s 538 site... Trump has a 40% shot to win it... Here’s the interesting thing... If you look down at the “Winding path to 270 votes”, the only additional state Trump needs to lead is NH. Once he goes ahead, consistently, in NH, then he goes over the 50%. Nate Silver will be forced to project Trump as the front runner.
He could lost Wisconsin, PA, VA, Michigan and STILL win.
Bingo. Assuming Trump holds all the Romney states - which is more than do-able - Trump will need to:
1. Win Florida and Ohio - 47 electoral votes
2. Take Nevada - 6 electoral votes
3. Take Iowa - 6 electoral votes
4. Take Arizona - 5 electoral votes
That takes him to 269 electoral votes total. So that gives him multiple paths, which can be:
1. Take one electoral vote in Maine (split vote state)
2. Take Colorado (9)
3. Take New Hampshire (4)
4. Take PA (20)
My concern is North Carolina, which Romney somehow managed to win but is increasingly a toss-up state. I think Trump take it though and I think he’ll win handily in Colorado, which used to be reliably GOP but not so much recently. The young vote needs to go third-party and not to Cankles there though.
Beck lost across America.
The way I see it he needs to win any 3 of the following:
Pennsylvania
Michigan
Wisconsin
Colorado
North Carolina
Virginia
Arizona
Ohio and Florida are must wins.
When does Glenn Stabby The Clown Beck get put in the type of institution that can help him?
Beck is still at large?
Trump should target another possible state that does not have the election fraud that PA does.
AZ has 11 e.v.; NM, 5.
Oh, great. Thank you for the clarification. OK that gives Trump even more paths.
I think Beck is paid by the Clintons to help deliver the election to Hillary.
I have no proof of that assertion just a hunch.
I also think Trump might take Wisconsin and Michigan because those states have been hit hard by globalism and free trade. PA. might be difficult because of the Philly vote.
After suffering through watching my state vote for Obama twice, I hope that I can see PA go for Trump.
I know its an uphill climb with all the freeloaders in Philly and da ‘Burgh.
But I continue to hope.
Exactly. I think NH is the last domino yet to fall. Once it goes, and the polls are tied there now, Trump should be favored in poll analysis.
“1. Take one electoral vote in Maine (split vote state)
2. Take Colorado (9)
3. Take New Hampshire (4)
4. Take PA (20)”
He is up in New Mexico.
