While he finds Donald Trump’s popularity unbelievable, Brad Pitt is trying to understand why people are supporting the Republican presidential candidate.
“I can’t bring myself to think that Trump will be in charge. In the simplest terms, what brings us together is good, and what separates us is bad,” the 52-year-old actor tells The New York Times’ T Magazine.
Pitt quotes the Oscar-winning film “The Big Short” and says, “When things are going wrong and we can’t find the reason for it, we just start creating enemies.”
“You gotta understand,” he tells the magazine, “that it’s also in our DNA. Most Americans don’t have time to watch CNN and Fox and Al Jazeera. They’re trying to make the rent, get the kids fed, they’re tired when they get home and they want to forget about everything. And so suddenly when this voice comes in – and it doesn’t have to be a voice of substance – saying he’s fed up with all of this, that’s the part that hooks into the DNA.”
But Pitt remains hopeful about the future.
“What I’m most hopeful about is that we’re a global neighborhood now, and we start to understand each other more and more — and yet, you see this reactionary push for isolation and separation again,” he says of Trump’s exclusionary ideas.
“A Trump supporter is fighting against just about everything,” he says. “What does he even mean, take our country back? Would someone please explain that to me? Where’d it go?”, he concludes.
Well, Brad, a person who honestly wanted to believe what conservatives believed would come to FreeRepublic.com or another conservative website and read what they have to say. This person would also avoid reading the liberal blogs which mock conservatism, at least at first.
Once you have spent a large amount of time at a conservative website, you can start reading the liberal blogs and realize just how hollow and ridiculous they are. If you have honestly spent years at conservative websites and still don’t understand how they think, you might just be an evil and a stupid person.

Just the fact that he considers Al Jazeera a source of news tells you how valid his opinions are.
Does he think creeps like Obummer and Clinton are good?? And bring us together. He must have been “on location” the last 3 years. What a dufus.

We want our nation in a world of nations. We are not globalists. We’re nationalists.
Globalism leads to uncheckable despotism.
Nationalism uses other nations as checks and balances.

Brad Pitt is thick. So this elitist punk is just trying to understand us common folk. What. A. Putz. Maybe he could have Bruce Springsteen or Sean Penn explain it to him.
From somebody who would recoil in horror if he was told that he needed to live in a house in South Central LA for a few months.
His wealthy lifestyle is all about "isolation and separation" from people who not of his own class. He has guards and fences to ensure he remains separated from regular people, much less the underclass.
A lot of very brave men suffered and died from 1775 to 1781, so that Americans could have their own neighborhoods, free of outside control. This dolt may think that that is something to be sacrificed because he lives in a gated community, where people, as in the pre-Jacobin era in France, fantasize about new world orders, and the non-existent "equality of man"; but such is not the real world. And the day dream would not be so appealing without the gates around the "global community."
As for his understanding of normal people--normal family oriented people;--he will never achieve the relief of the prodigal returning home, because he has mentally drifted too far away from normal human values. (Hint, no one aware of his surroundings is really a globalist, ideologically.)

I do not have to struggle over why I do not go see his movies.

Unless they are here illegally, and or want to chop your head off if you don’t submit to their religion, or pretend that gay marriage is equal to straight marriage or encourage weirdos to share the bathroom with your wife or daughter.
Pitt is far from the Midwestern, conservative, Bible-believing roots of his family. I truly believe the man is a prodigal son and will return someday.
It the meantime, only a true simpleton who cares nothing for America could even consider voting for a criminal like Clinton. Hopefully America has had enough of their numerous crimes and lies.
