It's a sad day for socialists everywhere
You may recall that the Bernie Sanders - the wealthy, multi-homed, socialist that he is - has a thing for breadlines. As he famously said:
Its funny; sometimes American journalists talk about how bad a country is, that people are lining up for food. That is a good thing. In other countries, people dont line up for food: the rich get the food and the poor starve to death.
Bernies also had a lifelong affinity for the glorious socialist uprisings throughout South America and in Cuba. You and I might laugh at this, since its completely asinine, but thats the way the old coot feels. Apparently, its all part and parcel of thinking the United States has too many choices when it comes to deodorant.
I wonder how many brands of disposable razor blades they have on the shelves in Venezuela?
Can they ban hunger?
Breadlines are bad for morale. Apparently starvation isn’t.
They can do like Canada does. When you need an operation for cancer, they put you on a waiting list for cancer surgery.
And you don’t have to pay for it!
Canada is super proud of this system.
I recall (decades ago) a story of a USSR refugee having a breakdown in the cereal aisle of a US grocery store. She couldn’t fathom the existence of so many brands/kinds/choices of mere breakfast cereal.
Recently I counted the number of different kinds of marshmallows at Walmart.
18.
At least Canada (AFAIK) _does_ have a private healthcare system.
Use it _once_, and you’re _never_ allowed back into the public system.
Dead people don’t complain.
Years ago, a good friend had a relative visit from Latvia. We went to the supermarket together, on her first day here. When we walked into the produce area (at Wegmans) she asked, "Is it like this all the time?"
With Socialism, people wait for bread. With Capitalism, bread waits for people.
After about a year, there should be an uprising to eliminate the ruling class.
Ah yes, the non-judgmental Canadians.
So forgiving, so tolerant. Just the opposite of those awful Americans.
A lotta that goin around. d:^)
Uh, Bernie?
The poor in America are NOT starving to death.
They’re morbidly obese.
You really should get out more.
Mingle with the hoi polloi. Visit a Walmart.
Observe the ghettopotami brawling in the aisles.
Atta boy.
Bakeries can easily avoid the fines for people standing in line by simply closing down their businesses permanently.
Feel the Bern and his supporters could take over Venezuela. They could fight for the right to run a country into the ground the fastest.
