Those who want a better future for themselves and their families will heed his message. Those who choose not to, he doesnt need. Polls can be useless
Donald Trumps recent speech regarding the atrocious state of urban, majority-black communities was a stellar achievement. As with much of the good he proposes for the nation, someone, somewhere will always impugn his efforts and this occasion was no different. Whatever can be done to hack away at his steely resolve will be done by those who are headed for irrelevance if this man becomes the next President of the United States.
The cry that Im hearing from some folks is that Trump must go into the black community (give face time) if he is to prove himself worthy of the black vote. I excuse this type of thinking from people who are not black, such as Fox Business News anchor Lou Dobbs, because the assumption is that its a worthy thing to saythe candidate should show blacks how much he cares by going to them for supplication. That is an asinine assumption, but it has a nice flavor to it.
Trump should go EVERYWHERE!
People running for office only want to be photographed in the company of enthusiastic supporters.
Trump is no different.
I would love to see Trump go to a black community and be welcomed with crowds. But he does not need to. He could run his whole campaign from his office with a web cam and file server. He gets more attention from a tweet than hilLIARy gets spending $millions for a planned event. She can barely draw 300 people.
Trump should schedule a nightly live webcam show- 15 minutes, from wherever he is.
If you have any connections to Trump campaign you should suggest to them that he does a nightly 15 minute webcast.
He would reach more people than all the media outlets combined.
He could run his whole campaign from his office.

So would all of us. However, the only crowds that would be there to great him will be the “Black Lives Matter” crowd. Wonderful optics, that.
Silk and Diamond play this role.
Ms. Omorosa (sp?) from the Apprentice plays this role.
The black father whose high school son was murdered by a illegal immigrant should be featured more to fill this role.
Trump should not show up to the NAACP where anything he says is called racist.
Trump should go into the ghetto and talk with blacks who live in despair every day of their lives. That would be a game changer.
Reagan tried that in the Bronx and it didn’t work well at all. A bunch of screaming heathens demanding handouts and other freebees. He was not pleased with them.
It wouldn’t hurt if the black community could try just a little bit to “identify as” being white.
I think Trump should go to the black community. He should walk some neighborhoods in black communities. If I were him I’d have my team identify the places in the US where he’s doing the best with the black community and the hispanic community and have rallies there and even offer busing for supporters in poor neighborhoods. I don’t usually like race based targeting but here is a fact. People in the minority communities have been so conditioned to think insularly that they need the attention to feel included.
Yeh, in an armored convoy.
You are right about the black people needing the attention. I recall a seminar that I once attended concerning the different ways that blacks and whites socialize. It was an eye opener. In order to “connect” with blacks face to face talk is extremely important. For you men it’s sort of like your wife. You can’t reach a deal with them before you talk it out. They need to talk things out and then all is well. Whites from the “cold” climates had to concentrate on surviving the ice. No time for talk. The moderator (a black man) expanded on that. Only seminar I remember over many years.
Trump doesn’t need liberal pandering techniques to enlarge his black vote. He needs to talk directly with them, man to man, with respect, and genuinely listen to their security and employment needs. I’m tired of all this patronizing of dysfunctional elements of black culture by the democrats. In the early 1900’s blacks had solid families and didn’t have the collapse of their family structure like today. I believe in Jack Kemp’s enterprise zones and tax incentives to help the black community. All of this must be prefaced with a restatement of law and order.

Trump should go up to Harlem, both east and west. Give that exact speech to the people there. But also talk about how he is s native NY’er from the city, has built the city and has employed thousands of blacks and hispanics in his construction projects. Then talk about how a carpetbagger from Arkansas came to NY only to steal a senate seat from a NY’er.
If Trump does that he wins NY and Hillary loses the election.
It's not like blacks aren't already handed everything they want.
I daresay, is someone was truly determined to get out of the ghetto, they could.
I'm sure there are churches who would work with those who truly want to improve their lives and not just drag the ghetto along behind them.
They need to escape from ghetto mentality, not just the physical place. Until they are willing to admit they are wrong instead of claiming they have been wronged, nothing is going to change.
The black community itself needs to take a role in correcting the problems.
The black pastors and other religious leaders need to speak out and tell them where they are wrong and how to fix it.
It will never happen as long as they have the victim mentality and whites are trying to fix things.
All true! The Tony Evans T.D. Jakes Mrs. King, etc. need to shake the inner city black community ourt of their lethargy and dysfunction. From out of the ashes God can raise up a people for His Name.
At least not in that portion of the black community that would rather collect government largesse than be given a job opportunity.
