On my list of “To Get”. Great little round.
I don’t see the big advantage of buying a gun in that caliber. It’s not like 5.56 is a powerhouse, but at least it’s widely available and relatively cheap. I wouldn’t want something less powerful for self-defense. I’ll stick with 7.62x39 myself.
I take it the reviewer doesnt have to buy his own ammo. 5.7x28 whew... Expensivo.

And here is an update from the same person:

Looks fun to shoot, but I don’t see it for much beyond that.
I’ll stick with AR & AK, which seems to cover the carbine niche for me.
PSA has the ammo on sale for $17.99 right now. Even then 36 cents a round seems a little pricey for something that lightweight.
I have the pistol, and really like it.
What I’d really like to go along with the pistol, is a bolt action rifle. Savage started to make one, then dropped the idea.
Or what would be absolutely perfect for my wants, a slightly scaled up Ruger 10-22 but that uses the pistol mags, in that round.
BUT.. I will say that a P90 is my favorite "backup" in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. And even there it has crap penetration.
Yeah. Color me skeptical.
I need one of those but, for sure, they aren’t Cali legal...
Last quibble. I've never shot the non lead frangible round that the author says won't go through a 12 oz soda can, but the round I shoot will go through a 3/16" cast iron spinner target without spinning the target at 40'.
