Some 7,000 armed police with heavy vehicles have surrounded and blocked the Incirlik air base in Adana used by NATO forces, already restricted in the aftermath of a failed coup. Unconfirmed reports say troops were sent to deal with a new coup attempt.
Hurriyet reported earlier that Adana police had been tipped off about a new coup attempt, and forces were immediately alerted. The entrance to the base was closed off.
Security forces armed with rifles and armored TOMA vehicles used by Turkish riot police could be seen at the site in photos taken by witnesses....

Trump needs to attack this tomorrow or Monday with this tack. “Who is helping the Russians more? Obama and Hillary with their failed policies that put our NATO nukes in danger or what?”
Trump is truly ahead of the curve here, and needs to twist the knife.
Just read an article in an Israel news source, and wow, what a puff piece. Acted as if the 7,000 police were already removed after a normal security check. If these nukes get out of NATOs hands, all heck breaks loose.
PING!!!

Thanks, Mr. M.J.B.
Somehow I don’t think CenCom brass under Command In Chief The Donald are going to be treated like towel boys by this oozing Turk slug.
Kt, not Mt...
I got through to the base#, He said "We are safe, that's all I can say". #Incirlik
WorldNews @WorldNewsThe@IncomeDisparity Have not been able to reach Incirlik through PA number, comm post, or any other. Strange.
BTW, what is the max number of fully equipped troops that a C5 can carry?
The trigger and phasing harness are not simple.
There is only one question that really matters here. What is Russia’s role in all this?
It is a legacy NATO policy to have nukes deployed in 5 different countries, including Turkey. Meant to confirm the seriousness of NATO deterrence at all levels. Obviously this all has to be reconsidered in light of what has been happening in Turkey-stan.
Erdogan supports ISIS. He has been selling their oil. He is in direct opposition to the Syrian regime that Russia is supporting.
However, this is a chance to fragment NATO so from a strategic standpoint that would be a plus.
I don’t know. I don’t think Russia would support Erdogan because it creates big problems for them that probably outweigh the problems it creates for NATO. Russia is very concerned about their own security. NATO is not an offensive threat to them - ISIS is.
People forget that Russia has their own Muslim problems so they are worried about their own citizens and those bordering them becoming radicalized.
Another great moment for the foreign policy of the Obama administration. They got us out of Iraq blowing any bumbling gains we had made there, bolstered Iran, and birthed ISIS by cheering the Arab Spring and lighting the rest of the place on fire.
On their way no doubt! 0buttbongo calls Erdogan his best fiend..
Dunford was handpicked by OMuslimBrotherhood more than once, and a year ago stated the Rooskies are more of a threat to the US than the IS.

Maybe some sort of grease money to North Korea could speed things up.
If you are gonna hand over nukes to ISIS to help it win the fight against Syria/Russia, that would be your point man. Turkey is just the cover.

RE: “The trigger and phasing harness are not simple.”
?!
Does anyone think that only a nuke which can be reliably detonated is the only way these Arrows are valuable?
Consider:
1. Prestige & power of nuke ownership
2. Bargaining chip “ “
3. Threat of using them as a DIRTY radiological bomb which could irradiate any major financially significant city, and the world’s economy would abruptly crash for at least in the short term.
4. If ME severely destabilizes due to Turkey seizing some of these nukes, Obola may have just the crisis to conveniently use to postpone elections.
News media would fully cooperate and run “Day the Earth Stood Still” like drama to scare all “reasonable” people into the need to have us “focus” on supporting our troops and gov’t to deal with this developing dire threat.
