I hope he wins, but it was a mistake for him to say what he said yesterday, for two reasons:
1. As a general rule, you never get in the way of your opponents destroying themselves.
2. At least temporarily, it united them (and the media, same thing) in a spasm of indignation against him, smoothing over their divisions and directing all ire against him.
Even if it is a distraction from her coronation, it has put him on the defensive and given people who are still undecided (not us here, but out in the non-political world) one more reason for pause.
With all due respect, you are dead wrong and need to focus on Hillary.

Those ‘rats feigning such outrage at Trump’s sarcastic comments about Russia producing Hillary’s missing emails - so concerned about foreign powers being influenced by what our leaders say - as Joe Trippi said on Fox “they take what we say seriously” - should take a few minutes to watch the news presented on RT Russia Television, available on many cable systems around the country. Last night’s program included a special feature on Bill and Hillary Clinton’s foundation, noting how close the Clintons are to many unsavory dictators around the world and how much money their foundation brings in from these dictators; they talked about Hillary running for president in the US, how she was standing up for women’s and gay rights, but how she was particularly close to the leaders in Saudi Arabia where such rights were virtually non-existent. Of Trump’s comments yesterday, they played several clips and seemed pleased that he had said Putin was a good leader and that as president he hoped to have friendly relations with Russia. They seemed amused by his comments about the missing emails and that anyone would think they had them. They were apparently not happy about the Democrats originally suggesting that they had hacked the DNC, apparently feeling insulted that we would believe they would perpetrate such criminality. Well it is Russia and who knows what they really think, but before ‘rats cast too many stones at what Trump says and its effect, they should start monitoring what comes out of their own mouths more carefully....
How does it happen all 2015 signer uppers to FR are recommending Trump be more careful with his remarks, act more Presidential (whatever the Hell that means)and not be so reckless in his statements? Methinks trolls are trolling.

Exactly right! Not talking about any particular poster, but this is the problem, many want to win smoothly, with no drama, just sort of cruise through and it will happen. Wrong. The media must be attacked, HRC must be attacked, daily and hard. Yes they will lie and struggle and fight back like trapped rats.

No it was great that he said that because in their outrage they are admitting there was national security emails in those deleted. Otherwise why get upset about yoga and marriage preparedness emails:-)
To me, it was one of the more brilliant moves of his campaign. Hillary imperative now more than at any other single moment in the campaign is to “move on” from her email scandal. Wikileaks torpedoed that goal right from the start of the Convention, but it was about the DNC’s emails, not her’s. But they then left themselves open by blaming it on the Russians, and Trump brought that home by closing the circle between “Russians” and “hacked emails” and “Hillary’s private server” yesterday. And by doing it in the dramatic, controversial way that he did, he ensured maximum exposure. Now, “emails” refers to not only the deep corruption in the DNC that rigged the nomination for her, but also to her own private server “emails” that were probably hacked by a foreign power because of her negligence and incompetence. The average voter will just hear over and over and over about “Hillary” and “Russians” and “hacked emails” and “corruption” and “negligence”. Not good for her.
So the Paradox is winners are offend bloody and scared because then take hits to get hits...Their are the bravest of winners
And loser are offend neither bloody and scared because they run away before the first blow to save there own skins... they're the worst kind of coward

I’m of an age that I have long appreciated both styles of wit and humor. They’re both uniquely American.
