Can't wait for that first Trump State of the Union address, eh?
Sometimes I feel like Im a therapist trying to bring about peace between Paul Ryan and conservative activists. Actually Ryan is more than willing, and you might recall a time when his Pathway to Prosperity made him a rising star in the eyes of the very people who now think hes an amnesty shill or whatever.
Here he is at the RNC last night. Are you sure hes not on our side?
Ryan is on Ryan’s side.
Very sure he is a Romney-type politician.
He’s trying to save himself from being primaried out. Don’t believe him for a second.
Paul Ryan is a globalist political hack bought and paid for by special interests.
Ditch the GOPe's pathetic princeling, Paul Ryan.
There is an alternative.
I have to give Paul Ryan credit, at least he’s doing the right thing! Unlike Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, Bush...
What does he mean by “we” and “changes”?
Very well said
Because he is on the verge of being Cantorized.
I swear Paul Ryan says Donald Dave or Donald D Trump or Donald Day Trump in bit yesterday. even his mouth doesn’t seem to say Donald J Trump

Maybe I am losing my hearing
I am talking about the bit right before he does the gavel..not later in the video
[McStain also sucked up to voters during tough primary fights.]
Speaker Paul Ryan [Bone-Head the Second?] suffering serious primary challenge ...

After losing the Republican presidential primary, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has decided to back House Speaker Paul Ryan in his contentious primary battle against Wisconsin businessman Paul Nehlen.

Not picking on you Blue Turtle, but don’t let your guard down with Paul Ryan. Brietbart has had a couple of real good articles on him lately. He’s in it for himself and will cozy up with whoever can help him. He says one thing and does another. His wife is the daughter of a wealthy democrat donor. Don’t trust him.
I understand and you’re right...I just feel for the sake of unity and winning this election it would be nice if Cruz Rubio Kasich did the same....even though they don’t mean it ;)
Paul Ryan was Donald Trump a couple terms ago.
He was a rock star on the right because he took on the entitlement culture (and lost) in a very similarly brave way that The Donald is now taking on immigration.
What happened to Paul Ryan since then is a shame and he’s not the same man.
Regardless, it is easy to see why Ryan does not like Trump. Trump essentially represents Obama’s third/fourth terms in respect to entitlement reform. Meaning that Trump is WRONG on entitlements and does not favor gradually reversing them as does Ryan.
Entitlement reform is at least as important as immigration issues. Entitlements are the magnet.
Ryan deserves all the grief he gets today. But on this issue he was/is right and Trump is wrong. The Ryan/McConnel misguided strategy of giving up on entitlement reform until we elect a Republican president suffered a death blow when it became apparent Trump would win.
Ryan’s primary goal of entitlement reform is a righteous one and his work against immigration constraints is NOT.
Trump’s primary goal of fixing illegal immigration is a righteous one and his promises to keep entitlements in tact is NOT.
Pray that they (or someone) achieve both their primary goals.
The two goals are so inextricably linked that I find it a crying shame the two men don’t recognize this seemingly obvious truth and join forces instead of thinking of themselves first.
Ryan is corrupted by the cheap labor / big donor crowd.
Trump is either wimping out on entitlement reform just to avoid the issue during the election or he really (wrongly) believes the central government’s role is to take care of people. The former would be a moral flaw. The latter would be a devastating misunderstanding of the American ideal.
Both men have admirable primary goals. Both men are terribly flawed regarding complementary goals.
