July 10, 2016: Micah Johnson, the Dallas shooter, was killed by police, when a robot was sent in to kill him. We now have the FIRST IMAGES taken showing his death. As the below photos show, Micah was killed, but his body was pretty much in tact.
The pics also show Micahs killing weapon, a Saiga AK-74 style semiautomatic rifle on the floor among the rubble. The weapon reportedly had a 30 round magazine, single point sling, Magpul folding stock, and a rail system with a red dot sight.
It is a Saiga 7.62x39 with a folding stock
I own a few of each of them
Especially that stamped steel 2x4 wall stud that he apparently hit face-first.
I am OK with the decision. I just worry that the robot got hurt.
Well, from now on “He dindo nuffin.”
The photo is definitely of an AK based rifle, not an SKS. Hard to tell if it’s a “47,” which does use the same cartridge as the SKS, the 7.62x39 or a “74,” which uses the Soviet analog of the 5.56 NATO, the 5.45x39. Since both cartridges are the same length, it’s hard to tell the difference from a distance.
But I did read that it was supposed to be an SKS that was used, but from the audio of part of the attack I heard, there were either multiple shooters, or an SKS with a detatchable magazine. But weapon in the photo is NOT of an SKS.

Amateurs. One pound of C-4 creates a shock wave that kills several meters away from the detonation. Death is from the instantaneous brain damage, augmented somewhat by being enclosed within a heavy structure.
Explosives don’t “atomize” people unless they are in direct contact with the detonation. The dead shooter is wearing a heavy ballistic vest, which would have mitigated some of obvious physical damage.
To give you perspective, we used to use one pound of C-4 to destroy heavy bunkers in Vietnam, usually sending the log roofs far into the air. The dead occupants looked a lot like the shooter afterward.
Why couldn’t the Taliban have gotten him while in Afghanistan.
I share your concerns.
Robots. Drones. Both problematic.
However in this case, I would say it was an active shooter situation. If the police were trading gunfire with him, I wouldn’t object if he got shot. So how is this different from trading gunfire? I’m not saying it is or is not; I’m asking because I don’t know the details of the situation and I am still trying to form a fact-based opinion rather than a knee-jerk opinion based on superficial information (like whether I sympathized with one side or the other).

Bastard deserved what he got. Hope he’s in hell where he deserves to be.
While it was widely reported that this guy used an SKS, that is definitely NOT an SKS, and appears to be an AK-74.
Ouch. Beware of robots bearing gifts.
“Candygram for Micah!”
Yes it was in a phone the new Galaxy C4
Reversal of Ted Kennedy’s White Genocide is needed. Halt all Arab & African immigration. Immigrate only from EU escapees or Russia.
Where are the brown and black prosperous cultures? Please name a few? Hillary will bring in more Islamic LOSERS!
White Americans are being genocided, exterminated. Remaining will be Socialist Dictatorship.
Hope your children like living inside a metal shack.
Actually, one of the best arguments against killing him (by any means) would be if there were a credible threat of planted bombs. I’d want to know where they were planted and a corpse couldn’t tell me that.
>>The Constitution is not some shield that proven killers get to hide behind, it is not a suicide pact that the innocent have to employ so a mass murderer gets his day court.
This is an excellent point and one that seems to escape liberals and lawyers.
The Avon Lady may ring your chimes,
But the Dallas Police Robot just knocks one time. ;-)
Few are going to shed tears for this loser, but when can the government summarily execute someone with a bomb? Will they decide it’s fair game when some BLM protestors on federal land are hold up in a cabin?
