July 10, 2016: Micah Johnson, the Dallas shooter, was killed by police, when a robot was sent in to kill him. We now have the FIRST IMAGES taken showing his death. As the below photos show, Micah was killed, but his body was pretty much in tact.
The pics also show Micahs killing weapon, a Saiga AK-74 style semiautomatic rifle on the floor among the rubble. The weapon reportedly had a 30 round magazine, single point sling, Magpul folding stock, and a rail system with a red dot sight.
Nobody's saying that you don't have the right to self-defense.
What I was trying to say is that what we saw wasn't a "peace officer" action, it was an "enforcement/military action — take a moment to cool off and realize that what you are endorsing is essentially the abolishment of [what remains of] the 5th and 6th amendments. (With the NSA's domestic espionage, the Patriot Act, and the USSC's determination that the requirement for warrants isn't absolute it seems the 4th is gone.)
How many liberties would you sacrifice on the alter of [the appearance of] security?
Nobody.
> Your post is bullshit.
Is it? I come from a military family and have served myself; tell me how my observation that this was handled w/ a military mindset was wrong.
> Most cops are good.
I said noting on whether the cops were good or not; I said they are behaving like military and not "peace officers" — and I find that disturbing. I mean, do you really want people with a military mindset to be in that position?
There was a great line on the new Battlestar Galactica where the Admiral says: There's a reason that we don't use the military as police: because if we did then they will soon start to see the people as the enemy.
ALL BLM/Black Panthers/black racist organizations are bad.
Funny, I said nothing on BLM/Black Panthers/black racist organizations
— at all.
You are really weir.d
I shall take that as a complement.
Thank you.
You should at least make it a link, like this.
BTW I certainly don't like the direction that police mindset has gone in recent decades — and I absolutely don't like the free pass that the authorities are given when they violate the Constitution, from the NSA's domestic espionage to the LEO's civil asset forfeiture, to the actual literal treason by congress, to the gross negligence extreme carelessness
of a former Secretary of State.
“It is a Saiga 7.62x39 with a folding stock”
I believe you.
