I also agree that it is horrible that millions of them have been murdered by Jihadis and the slaughter goes on still. I just don’t see any alternative but to insist that they get control of their fellow Muslims and stop them. We should help them but before we can help them or ourselves, we have to have leaders who will look at reality and call it by its proper name.
That is why from now, I will refer to these attacks as Islamic Annihilations and I will use the term Islamic World Conquest as a synonym for Jihad.

Its quite right. And well said.
I’m still trying to figure out the right answer to the objections raised by several people on this thread. Here is what *I think* is probably the right way to do this:
1. Post Under “bloggers” not breaking news, etc.
2. Post the entire post, not just an excerpt.
3. Post the link back, for people who want to see context.
And two other generally good ideas to get people more open to your postings would be to
A. Complete your bio / about page.
B. Participate in other forum discussions besides your own writing.
I think this last point is key. The two examples I posted of authors doing a lot of cross linking and promotion here were both long-time Freepers who were extremely prolific contributors.

Ok, that’s my ideas for peace-making on FR. I would especially like to hear back from humblegunner and Larry,. Would following these suggestions be a good idea and reduce or eliminate your objections? Are there other steps he should take?
I find those to be very sound suggestions. I may even be tempted to link back to this post every so often.
Points 1,2 & 3 would pretty much cover it. Nicely and totally.
Subpoint B would be pretty good as well.
With those aspects covered, criticism would be difficult.
