I just don’t see any alternative but to insist that they get control of their fellow Muslims and stop them. We should help them but before we can help them or ourselves, we have to have leaders who will look at reality and call it by its proper name.
That is why from now, I will refer to these attacks as Islamic Annihilations and I will use the term Islamic World Conquest as a synonym for Jihad.

I am glad the author is onto the Islamic problem, but to expect Muslims to stop the fundamentalists would mean those Muslims disagree with the examples set by Muhammad and that would make them heretics.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Bridget Gabriel, Walid Shoebat- there are lots of them whose lives are on the line as we write. The only way to save themselves is for them to make the change happen. I’m not hopeful but there is a glimmer.
I'm sorry, but I do not agree. There may be some that disagree with their religion but are too fearful to leave it knowing that their punishment is death. Those that like and believe in Islam are just the soft jihadists who agree with the radical jihadists who are in fact carrying out what the Koran espouses.
The things that help us Kafirs out from facing the full force of Islam, is Islam is shot full of heretics , apostates, and Infidel collaborators, all to our advantage.
Another factor that helps us Kafirs is the Shiites, who are Muslim heretics that muddle up Islam and introduce problems into the religion which the fundamental Sunnis have to address.

You say it as if it were a bad thing. The only reward I get for writing this blog, aside from getting this stuff off my chest, is the knowledge that smart people read and understand what I am saying. The only way I can get an idea of how that goes is the number of hits. Free Republic has a lot of smart people and whose ideas, for the most part, I respect. Rather than just post it to thin air, I like to get hits. I especially like the from Freepers.

I know that there has always been a general dislike of people "pimping their blogs" here, but I don't recall it being adhered to with such vitriol. To me the poster's point that he isn't selling anything *is* a good defense.
An alternative would be to post all his articles here as Vanity postings. At least in old-school Freeperdom that was frowned on even more than cross-posting from your old site.
Some people have done extensive promo of their work on FR, and not seemed to have ever brought down anything near the rude anger being poured on this poster. For Instance I well remember Jeff Head publishing excerpts from his military novels here. Travis has cross posted his own essays from WRSA and other sites that are the primary publishers of them.
If one followed both the admonishment not to "blog pimp" and not to publish frequent vanities the end result is that the DIY instinct is gone. The New York Times becomes an OK and reliable source for FR readers and commentators, but our own brilliant authors do not.
This seems quite counterproductive to me, I don't think it's a good policy. It certainly is quite different from the old days, as one can tell by the many links on the sign-on screen to Freeper derived sites. Alamo Girls "Clinton hit list" being among the most famous.
