Once again the nation looks to Texas for the way things ought to be.

This time the Texas Legislature has passed a law permanently barring Muslims from trying to institute their own sharia-based savagery on their own communities in the Lone Star State. Shoebat.com reports that the anti-sharia law was passed this week.

WOAI State Sen. Donna Campbell (R-New Braunfels) doesn’t mention Islamic Koranic law, or ‘Sharia Law’ in her bill. She simply says it guarantees that no laws fro ‘foreign courts’ will be adopted by Texas civil court judges.

“It’s just to provide some belt and suspenders to make sure that, with judicial discretion, we don’t trump Texas law, American law, with a foreign law regarding family law,” Campbell said.

Muslim groups say the bill is a ‘solution looking for problem, and claim that the bill has its genesis in an anti Muslim demonstration on the steps of the Texas Capitol in January in which the proposal was cheered.

That law don’t mean shit to a muslim. muslims do not recognize our, or any Nation’s Law[s]. muslims only recognize sheria law. And when they reach the point percentage wise of the area they have colonized, they implement it and move to a new area to colonize and establish sheria law. Soon they have the entire Country.

It’s like passing a law to state that marriage can only be between one man and one woman; legislating the obvious.

The Texas legislature isn’t in session, and it hasn’t been for months.

Not anti muslim.

Anti-sharia law.

Just like we dont have any other non-usa laws and courts here.

It actually enforces non-favoratism and ensures this will not be allowed to occur.

Well, Fang has said that IF anyone, Muslim, gubmint goons,
etc. comes crawling around our little scrap of America
to “evict” us; they will have to kill him first and he
fully intends to dispatch as many of THEM to their 72
VIRGINS IN THE SKY as he is able BEFORE they are able to
- IF they are able to - kill him and steal his land.

This is a tricky law to write, because for years, the US has recognized both Christian and Jewish clerical courts in some civil disputes, as long as all the parties involved agree to it and it does not violate any secular law. Plus, if either side is particularly upset by the court they can appeal to a secular court. That is, the religious courts cannot in any way compel or coerce performance.

Such sectarian disputes have happened a lot, particularly in Protestant church schisms, over church properties and assets, but are also frequent among Jews.

Add to this the oddity of the “Eruv”. Jewish law allows for some limited travel within a marked area on their sabbath. However, the markers of the boundaries of these areas must be put up in some public areas, like on telephone poles and street signs. So US law allows for these religious markers to be placed and maintained.

Terrible article.

The law didn’t pass last year (the Senate voted for it but it didn’t get a floor vote in the House) and the Texas legislature isn’t even in session this year.

I didn’t go to Shoebat to see if he or the gopdailydose were the idiots.
