And how did Ned learn of Robert's Bastard's?
This is Rhaegar, Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen
Notice anything?
“It’s almost as if this show has an agenda and is conditioning its audience to accept female leadership. “
I wouldn’t put it past GRRM to make this his agenda. He’s a lib, who is probably promoting hiLIARy.
Thankfully, the next installments won’t be aired until after the election.
Ned Stark was killed b/c he discovered Robert’s children weren’t his children and were products of incest between Cersei and Jaime Lannister. Instead of doing something about it right away by telling Robert, he tried to give Cersei a chance to get out of dodge since he knew Robert would have her, Jaime, and all three kids killed (he kept thinking about the murdered Targaryen children in the book). So he told Cersei what he knew, and she turned the tables on him quickly by having Robert killed and Ned thrown in prison.
He also told Joffrey to his face that he was a bastard. Ned was given a plea deal to go to The Wall, he took it, and Joffrey double-crossed him and had him beheaded.

If you are implying that Jon Snow is the son of Robert and Lyanna, then that would not make sense based on last night’s episode. Robert would have no reason to kill his own child by Lyanna, whom he loved, and Rhaegar’s Kingsguard would have no reason to be guarding the Tower of Joy.
Is there even a season 8?
I thought the next season was all she wrote?
Since evberyone else is dead, Cersei is basically the only person in the government left alive. No one can fight against her.
She is outmatched though with Daenerys’ forces on the way to Dorne. From there they can invade north and take over all of Westeros. She has the Tyrells, the Dornish, the North, The Knights of the Vale and a huge Dothraki Army.
Plus she is the only person with an air force. One that can melt stone too.
Let’s be real, the only army in Westeros that can even fight the Targaryen’s is the White Walkers.
There is a book on Amazon called Black Belt in Game of Thrones Trivia. Pretty much everything you need to know for any Game of Thrones geek like me.
In fact they finally revealed who Jon Snow’s parents were. This is a famous fan theory. Now that even the TV show has hiom being a Targaryen, there is one missing Targ who will be riding the third dragon.
It’s explained in that trivia book too. It seems that the Mad King loved Tywin’s wife Joana. Guess what Tyrion is?
I just love the show, and this last episode was very good except for the time issues. Meaning Varys making it to Dorne then back to Danny in Mereen and then sailing towards Westeros, with by the way Tyrell ships, Ironborn and Dornish ships as well as her own flagged vessels.
That was hilarious!
Arya would have killed Jaime if, if, if . . . .
Not confirmed yet, but the word is that there will be 2 more seasons, but they will both have fewer than 10 episodes each. Probably 6-8 episodes.
It was more like: "My mother killed my wife, killed my religion, killed my people, and SHE will end up ruling me. F**K this. I'll do something that she can't control and will HURT her as much as she did me".
I told my wife when he was watching the town go green.....that "If it was me, I'd just jump. I won't have my Mom telling me what to do".....and then he jumped. LOL
Ned knows this back then so keeps the secret making up the rape story and thinking Rhaegar is the father years later he learns the truth but realizes he can never prove it so declares for Stannis.
Robert and Lyanna appeared to have a political betrothal. It’s doubtful that they ever coupled before she ran off with Rhaegar. Targaryen children tend to look alike due to all of the inbreeding between brothers/sisters. Jon’s dark hair comes from his Stark heritage through his mother, Lyanna.
Well, since a lot of characters and their sub-plots bit the dust last night, perhaps it will be easier between this season and the next.
Although the timeline is not entirely clear, it appears that Lyanna was a “captive” for about year before giving birth.
Many things happened at the Harrenhall Tourney. Legend isn’t necessarily fact.
I’m pissed we weren’t shown the first meeting between Varys and Danaerys, though I did cheer during the shot showing him standing behind her.
Books or TV, remember TV is splitting off into it’s own storyline. And Timelines are fairly fluid in the Series being Lord Varys was able to cross the sea extremely fast to get back in time to cross again on the Dothraki Armada.
My understanding of that rumor is that Raegar Targaryn is Jon's father (Dany's brother). Recently read a speculation that it is Tyrion who is the son of the Mad King, having impregnated Tywin Lanister's wife while they were living at the Red Keep.
That one may explain Tyrion's ability to walk up to a couple of dragons and not be eaten. He has Targaryn blood in him.
Also puts a different spin on Tywin always saying to Tyrion that he was not HIS son. Maybe the problem between Tyrion and his father was not about his being a dwarf at all; but, Tywin was actually speaking the truth --- he is not his son.
Or she expected her son to be kept safe and she was going to appear next to him in royal mourning garb as he sat on the throne alone but for her.
Or the writers of the show are.
