Our hearts are aching as our dearest and sweetest four legged friend pasted away last night. Hope would have been 15 next month. She was grouchy in her old age, but there was a time the kids in the neighborhood thought of her like she was one of them and we actually had kids ring the door bell to see if Hope could come out to play. She is gone now, but her paw prints will remain tracked across our hears forever.
Really sorry to hear of your loss.
I’m sorry for your loss. Loosing a beloved dog is very hard. I pray the Lord will fill the hole in your heart with many kind and warm memories of Hope.
There is sorrow enough in the natural way
From men and women to fill our day;
But when we are certain of sorrow in store,
Why do we always arrange for more?
Brothers and sisters I bid you beware
Of giving your heart to a dog to tear.
Buy a pup and your money will buy
Love unflinching that cannot lie—
Perfect passion and worship fed
By a kick in the ribs or a pat on the head.
Nevertheless it is hardly fair
To risk your heart for a dog to tear.
When the fourteen years that nature permits
Are closing in asthma or tumors or fits
And the vet’s unspoken prescription runs
To lethal chambers, or loaded guns.
Then you will find—its your own affair
But—you’ve given your heart to a dog to tear.
When the body that lived at your single will
When the whimper of welcome is stilled (how still!)
When the spirit that answered your every mood
Is gone—wherever it goes—for good,
You still discover how much you care
And will give your heart to a dog to tear.
We’ve sorrow enough in the natural way
When it comes to burying Christian clay.
Our loves are not given, but only lent,
At compound interest of cent per cent.
Though it is not always the case, I believe,
That the longer we’ve kept ‘em the more do we grieve;
For when debts are payable, right or wrong,
A short time loan is as bad as a long—
So why in Heaven (before we are there)
Should we give our hearts to a dog to tear?
-Rudyard Kipling

Sorry to hear that, buddy.
A beautiful dog and a wonderful obituary. Prayers here for you.
Lord have mercy, I am so sorry.
Damn you, you made my screen blurry!
Godspeed man’s best friend.
I am so sorry. Losing a beloved pet is like losing a family member.
Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow. We’ve been there too. Warm Smiles
So sorry to hear about your beautiful little dog, Hope.
God gave man dominion over all the animals only horses and dogs that know it.
We are having Hope cremated half gets buried with the wife and the other half gets spread along with me in a special little valley in the Great Smoky Mountains!
I know shes there waiting for me roaming the woods or rolling in the grass of some small meadow. Naps in the deep shade after a day of chasing rabbits and squirrels.
And when the day comes and we met she’ll come running in her galloping gait with muddy paws and a streak on deer scent on the side of her face and we will explore those mountains as they haven’t been since the day of the Cherokee and the long-hunters.
Aw, man.
You *know* that I feel for you.

Sympathy and prayers for your loss, God bless you and all of us, especially all of our beloved dogs both here and in Heaven...
Sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss.
Terrible news, I am so very sorry.
Condolences.
Anyone who isn’t torn up when something like this happens isn’t much of a human being. I’m sure she knew every day that she was loved.
