It was not an "if" but "when". The handwriting was on everyone's walls, for all to see.
I have for the past few weeks stayed quietly away, gently watching the Trump-Clinton feud coming of age as election time draws closer. Many Americans, I assure you, are not the slightest bit aware of the enormity of what is at stake in these elections and the ensuing consequences to the nation, depending on who we elect to be our next president.
The Orlando massacre has now earned its uninvited place as the worst mass shooting ever in U.S. history of the nation and the deadliest in the U.S. since 9-11. It was not an if but when. The handwriting was on everyones walls, for all to see.
The repulsive list below outlines some of the most renown Islamic terrorist attacks beginning on 9/11/2001 to date.
Not only is it the worst mass shooting in the History of the US, it happened on Obama’s watch, with Obama’s policies.
And there is his legacy.
No wonder he wants to talk about guns.
Maybe it will take two big Islamic terror attacks in short succession. Both in public places where all kinds of people could go. Some may say to themselves, about the Orlando attack, well, this “lone Muslim wolf” had an issue with his own sexuality, which made him pick a gay bar, where I might never go. But if two different Lone Muslim Wolves picked, inside of two weeks, public places like a Target and an amusement park, and killed about 50 people in each... I think the media would have a harder time minimizing the true cause. Maybe also if one of them was a poison gas. So that the gun argument wasn’t a distraction.
One would think but maybe not even then. I sense the pendulum of public media driven opinion leaning towards the Liberal/Progressive position on terrorism and gun control.
An ISIS attack on a Hollywood event, killing several major stars.
Not even...
I’ve already faced the fact that Americans will sit and fiddle with their phones and watch Hollywood news until the trucks come and haul them away. History repeat.
