So what happens if it’s miniaturized and connected in series by the millions?

although one has to wonder why Tesla’s ideas have taken some 75 years to reach the mainstream.

Because they've been suppressed by the PTB, maybe?

"“We turn it from AC to DC.” "

Impossible. Harvested energy would have to be in the form of DC.

“This 13-Year-Old Invented a Tesla-Inspired Free Energy Device for $14”

This has been around for a while. The reason why it isn’t a thing isnt because of some conspiracy, it’s because the output is so pathetically tiny, it’s useless.

You can power a string of LEDs or a simple LCD clock, but that is about it.

Scaling it up isnt going to really light a 30W light bulb.

I have seen devices like this before and they usually put out maybe enough power to power a LED or two, not an entire strip

However I believe this is an elaborate hoax, the batteries are in the can, that is why they had it covered.

Just my opinion

Let’s be clear. You can indeed harvest energy (extremely small amounts of energy) from the air. Crystal radios have done this for over 100 years. But what this kid is showing is pure BS.

His LED light strips require power on the order of several watts, and it is impossible to scavenge that amount of energy, or anywhere close to it without a nearfield source, such as a large induction coil that he cleverly does not show in his video, or a 50,000 watt AM broadcast transmitter across the street.

Put his $14 piece of crap in a controlled environment away from whatever flimflam source he is using and it will be clear.

On a positive note, he is in the running to be the next Glenn Beck.

Induction from ambient electromagnet waves, most of which are coming from alternating current electrical lines.

The closer it is to an AC power line the more "free" energy it will steal from the power company, or if it's on your side of the electric meter, from you.

We used to hold transistor radios up to the power line coming into residential electric meters. The volume would go up by an order of magnitude.

Why Tesla’s ideas took so long to get to the mainstream? First, alternating current was his idea, Edison’s direct current lost out. Tesla’s work is in over 99% of American homes. Second, when Tesla went to his financial backer, J.P. Morgan, to present the free energy idea, Morgan withdrew his backing, reportedly stating there would be nowhere to put a meter on usage, thus no way to make the kind of money he was after. Tesla declined after this. For what it’s worth, in Morgan’s lifetime he was accused of being the American agent of the Rothschild banking family in Europe, which at the time most Americans wanted nothing to do with. He always denied it. After his death he was found to be lying.

If you are “harvesting” radio waves, it’s not exactly “free” energy, because the radio station is paying for the power to run the transmitter. In a sense, it’s stealing energy.
