Gabriel Sherman writes that the poor reaction to Megyn Kelly’s primetime FOX special, Megyn Kelly Presents, has spooked the news anchor as she positions herself for negotiations at the end of her Fox News contract–so much so that a phone call to her publicist led to an immediate hang-up.

Megyn Kelly’s much-publicized broadcast special with Donald Trump was supposed to launch the Fox News star into the stratosphere of television anchordom. Instead, the widely panned show seems to have achieved the opposite result: It exposed the extent of her limited mainstream appeal. Kelly drew just 4.8 million viewers on Tuesday night, a number television executives say is a disappointment by any measure. Three senior executives I spoke with say an audience of 9 million would have been a success. “Not good for her at all,” was how one insider put it.

Well that’s even more stupid... put something on your normal channel news related at a time when you normally don’t have news and expect a crowd???? I think that’s a bit much... most folks aren’t going to care about Her and Trump making up. But it does explain the numbers expectations, which honestly I think were silly to begin with.
I tune into fox to watch mind numbing swill in prime time.. what’s this? a political interview...oh well off to another channel.
Kelly Mehgan or whatever her name is, will end up with that other bimbo, Alisyn Camerota over at CNN.

Meggers bubbles in her champagne glass of public notoriety are no more, including all her appearances at 1%’ers & 10a%’er galas & public functions- she went up against something (The Donald) when she called him out during that debate referencing his comments about women.
THEN.....she advertised she was meeting him in private for a interview to patch her image. Her own network & public image has done her in for good... she should go back to reporting local news or the weather just like Diamond and Silk said regarding the first debate: runs 4mins

While a Trump fan I made sure NOT to watch her interview with Trump.
Paybacks a Kelly
These interview shows are outdated. I use to watch Barbara Walters and other similar shows, but now never watch. The Trump interview was over a week old by the time it aired and the previews were nothing special. Douglas and Shapiro? I couldn’t care less about celebrities and what they’re plugging. And Laverne Cox? Who wants to hear him ramble on about “equality” the unfair bathroom law?
The blood was coming out of her ratings.
It was her idea, and her interview. She should have realized that Trump supporters can't stand her, and Dems don't want to watch the Republican candidate anyway. She's got no fan base... except herself.
I watched the debate on YouTube.com That way Fox didn’t get the credit.

Many of us haven’t forgotten or forgiven for the debate. Paybacks....a lot of us didn’t watch it live, on purpose, to deny her the ratings.
I still haven’t seen it and probably won’t. I can’t stand the sight of her now.
