Forgive me if experiences in Germany and now here, that there is a conspiracy to keep Muslims out of liberal fiefdoms (the big cities) and punish the conservative centers (small towns). Just seems to cynical that big city liberals are behind the push but not willing to personally feel the results in their neighborhoods.

I lived in Burlington about 35 years ago. It was pretty mellow and a college town. Us townies were partiers but nothing major.
Rutland has always been a little more scary.

It is not alone in undergoing cultural deterioration; but that does not mean that cultural morphing in an incongruous direction is a good thing.
It is time that we had a very comprehensive debate about immigration--not one controlled by the PC bullies: One in which Americans who want to preserve the culture that made all the good things possible, have their say. And that means to end the pretense that people are interchangeable.
Somebody check His Honor, Mayor Louras bank account and see if there has been a substantial monetary increase.
