The new normal: The economy is not good. The economy has not been good for the entire Obama presidency
Businesses arent spending money. Neither are consumers. And while the unemployment rate is made to look good, record low labor-force participation tells a different story. The economy is not good. The economy has not been good for the entire Obama presidency. And while Democrats hope were getting used to horrendous news like this, we shouldnt be:
The U.S. economy grew at its slowest pace in roughly 2 years, climbing just 0.5 percent in the first three months of 2016.
I’m sure Carrier and Ford moving production to Mexico “helped” the GDP figures.
Markets rise on better than expected news.
Obama has discovered the formula for a record seven consecutive years of growth: (1) compliant media reporting the statistics, (2) compliant number crunchers creating the statistics, and (3) anemic growth that leaves plenty of room for future improvement.
It's just too bad that the Americans had to come up with those ridiculous thirteenth and fourteenth amendments!
I always wondered why the GOPe, republicans, and FRee traitors were all in for the bern and the hildebeast, to the point where both sides are calling for the head of the republican front-runner.
It just seems to be a tug-of-war between the corporate socialists and the government socialists, rule of law followers of the Constitution need not apply.
Is this the “revised” number or are we going to see in a couple months there was actually a contraction?
Just wait until next quarter when they adjust / revise this quarter downward. This administration bats 1,000 when it comes to revising fluffed initial data downward.
0.5% growth baloney. The real growth is -3.3%.
LOL. What a scam. The markets now rise on bad economic news, and on good economic news. America could become Zimbabwe, and the DOW would still put in new highs.
Our feckless GOP allowed this under educated street activist imposter a free card to destroy this country, this is the real story
