Rush Limbaugh today on his radio show looks ahead to what happens if Ted Cruz actually succeeds with his plan to wrestle the nomination away from Donald Trump on the 2nd or 3rd ballot of a contested Republican Convention. Rush said it will be like a “nuclear explosion” going off, and that “it will be the end of the Republican Party.” . . . .

Here is my answer.
Trump will get the nomination by having the 1237 probably between 1265-1350 before the convention.
By October, it will be as if Trump is running unopposed. He will shred Hillary to confetti. She is so weak!
You heard it here first. Trump is so underestimated that this amazes me. The democrats though are starting to fear a Trump opponent. Wait until he starts in on her!
He was wrong about Edward the Third then, but he recognizes the reality now, and the options are Trump or Hillary. There is no third option that does not result in Hillary.

Many people here have asked him repeatedly to explain what’s the difference between 0b0la and Cruz, but he refuses to fess up.
Rush's miscalculations up to this point have been staggering!
I stopped listening as he was so out of step, having no understanding of what the answer to Hillary needed to be.

Well, Ted used it in his campaign ads and it sure sounds like an endorsement and was used like an endorsement and unsuspecting people would certainly believe it was an endorsement and Rush didn’t make him stop, so obviously it was fine with Rush.

The GOPe found some blackmail material on Rush on from his Thailand trip after his latest wife divorced him. They've been using on it ever since then. The corruption runs very deep.
Hillary wins no matter who the Republicans run. Gov. McAuliffe of VA just restored voting rights to 200,000 felons and heaven only knows what election shenanigans are going on in the other 49 states.
People who give up without even trying always lose.
That's the money quote right there. Trump has momentum and good will with independents and democrat blue collar voters.
The other question is how much will Cruz owe the people providing him the money to do this. In a normal election the money would dry up and Cruz would have to suspend his Candidacy. So it's become the rank and file against the power brokers.
I hope the voters in the remaining primaries realize this and punish Cruz and Kasich by voting for Trump and for unifying the party.
If Cruz wins at all, whether it be the second ballot or the two hundredth ballot, the Republican Elite won’t have done their jobs. The Republican Elite hate Cruz more than they hate Trump. They hate Trump because they fear and respect him. They neither fear nor respect Cruz, they only hate him.
And Rush will hold some responsibility, pimping Cruz as he has. But “the end of the GOP”? Not a bad thing.
