The racist Left would rather have seen racist Margaret Sanger on the bill.

Tubman is fine but putting the revolting Eleanor Roosevelt (proposed for the $5 bill) on anything but toilet paper is awful.

Why didn’t they put Robert KKK Byrd on the $2?
They wanted Tubman to highlight slavery. They could have put Condoleezza Rice on the $5 to highlight progress instead.

Liberals have done it before.

Transfer a picture of some grim faced liberal icon to currency and wonder why it's disliked.

As a child, I was always fascinated by currency from other countries — it looked so cartoony and colorful compared to our “greenbacks.” Now our greenbacks are going the way of the rest of the world!!! But I like the idea of Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill. If the leftists think folk are racists, I hope the left is disappointed.

It has nothing to do with “racism”.

This is about Bambi attempting to obliterate the founding fathers.

Of course, there’s nothing at all wrong with Harriet Tubman being on the $20 bill,

Yes there is. In terms of significance to the United States, she is a big nothing.

There are no women of any significance (as compared to the founders) in US History. There just isn't.

Now if we had a Margaret Thatcher, that would rise to the level of significance to make someone worthy of being on the currency, but we don't.

Sure, America has a hundred billion or two lying around to spend on something that won’t create any jobs, help stamp out terrorism or lift anyone out of poverty.

I don’t think it’s going to happen anyway. Jack Lee will be out in a few months.

Since I am white, and therefore a racist by default, the left will be surprised to hear that I have no objection to a true American heroine being featured on our currency.

Bring back the $500 bill and the $1,000 bill as well.

Put Ronald Reagan on one of them, and Lady Liberty on the other.

Harriet Tubman what were these idiots thinking. You want someone to personify America’s dark years go with Harriet Tubman whom saved seventy families from slavery. But someone like John Hopkins whom started many institutions that exist today regarding the destitute and downtrodden irregardless of color or ethnicity after America became a country is looked over, dumb.
what about Harriet Beecher Stowe, John D. Pockefeller (standard Oil), William Llyod Garrison, Frederick Douglas, or Henry David Thoreau. But America has picked another face on the currency that will go down as a flop.

Put Obama’s face on a penny. Because this worthless piece of excrement is a “penny waiting for change”.

I don’t consider Andrew Jackson sacrosanct.

About the only president I’d insist on is George Washington, and that’s for obvious reasons.

I’m not caring much for presidents at all these days.

I’d prefer they used Medal of Honor winners and other actual heroes.

Presidents have been dweebs more often than not.

The Tubman $20 will be the perfect bill for an underground economy.
